Can’t say enough about the culture this shop embraces. Purchased my first Santa Cruz MTB from them over 10 years ago and when looking to get into my first legit MTB I paid them a visit. Many of the same employees from years back still call it their home and the pride they take in customer service and attention to detail is undeniable. 5 stars & beyond. Walked in yesterday looking for a couple of helmets for our toddlers. Costumer service was top tier. The gentleman helped up get the correct size with some room to grow. The gentleman was very patient with my two toddlers who can be a lot sometimes. The helmets look great quality.
Thank you for the great experience we look forward to future business, we highly recommend to anybody looking for bicycles or bicycle Accessories.

It was the only bicycle shop around that was actually open on a Monday. All the other shops were closed. Troy knew immediately that I was bike touring. He repaired two broken spokes and I received great advice about bike problems associated with touring.

Great shop. Nice staff. Solid selection. They have skateboard stuff now and it's dope. Beer might be coming back soon to 😉

This local bike store located downtown has a little something for everyone. From Balance bikes for toddlers to road and mountain bikes they have something for everyone.

The friendly and knowledgeable staff have the experience and knowledge to help you find what you need for any age or level of cycling experience. The only issue is that if you are looking for cheap and don't care about quality this store is not for you, frankly no bike shop is as they build their reputations on quality and return customers.

For anyone else this store gets an easy 5/5 and I would rate it higher if I could.

Hands down, this is the ONLY bike shop in my mind if you’re into MTB, and I don’t even live anywhere near Salem. I’ve bought two bikes from Giant (pre-pandemic) and had them shipped to these guys. Santiam Bikes customer service is well above average, as well as their knowledge of bikes, parts, upgrades, etc. I won’t rant on and on, just check em out and see for yourself.

They are also connected with local trail groups like BRMBA, and have a real presence in the local MTB community. Before Covid, they hosted group rides and fundraisers as well.

All in all, a great shop with great folks!

Called and scheduled some overdue bike maintenance. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you're looking for a stress free, straightforward place to get bike work done i would definitely recommend them.

Walked my bike in and they weren't busy, so able to fix me up with new brakes in just a few minutes. Excellent customer service, even cleaned my dirty tires ^^' Fixed some loose bolts for free, top off the air and total cost was much cheaper than I expected. Super happy and much more secure out on the road. Highly recommended :D

I’ve bought an e-bike as well as most of my bike accessories here over the last couple of years. The whole shop is super helpful and friendly.

They even let me pester them with questions for a month before making my first big purchase.

Great selection of many styles of in stock bicycles, nutritional needs, all bike accessories, and a crafty skate board center, with all the goods. The best down to earth group of bike enthusiasts who have no opinions on your rider style and desires. Your needs for all cycling knowledge start with you walking through their front door. Employees here smile, greet you and right away acknowledge you, with positiveness. Ask questions-get answers! There is no difference of service if you have a relic bike that you cherish, an entry, moderate level or top end bike, you the customer, are treated with equal respect. HANDS DOWN THE BEST BICYCLE SHOP IN ALL OF THE COUNTRY!

I had my bicycle tires stolen from what I thought was a safe place underneath the stairwell at the new Jory apt complex off centre and park ave. I should have known better. When I called to ask about my tire size and get a price quote I was given an honest break down what it would entail. The guy on the phone was so helpful and friendly and said that he would arrange all the parts before I got there. Surely enough when I got there I was greeted with such compassion and understanding for situation and he had all the different options laid out for me to pick.. was not judgemental about if I wanted the cheapest option.. I chose the middle ground. He was very knowledgeable and explained in detail all the parts and requirements.. gave me a quote and said he could have it repaired with in the hour. Sure enough I got a phone call before the hour was up and returned to pick up my bike. They adjusted the breaks, everything.. all sorts of things that I had no what was.. but it was literally like a brand new bicycle and they even added some reflective lighting the wheels so It would be safer to drive at night for no extra cost. The service and friendliness and helpfulness and caring of the staff in unmatched in any kind of establishment I have ever been too. I could feel their empathy and understanding. I was so relieved and it changed my mood drastically from being super down to being so much happier and almost healed in way from being so violated.. I just hated how sad my bike looked after some bum jacked my tires and messed it up a little.. I cannot thank the staff enough for understanding my situation and helping me with so much compassion. From the guy who explained everything, to the girl who greeted me with smile and helped put the finishing touches on or maybe even did more than that when I was away.. to whoever I encountered.. I shown so much love from these complete strangers!! I Absolutely ADORE this biycicle shop and know now why it is the greatest greatest!! Don't bother with any one else. The honesty and integrity of the staff at this place alone is more than enough reason to choose them!! Thank you soooo sooo much guys for changing what seemed like a really awful situation to me into really no big deal :D I am soo soo grateful!!!

These guys are AMAZING. Admittedly it's the middle of wintertime, but they had my tube replaced and filled, chain greased, chainring tightened, derailleur fixed and one other thing I forgot for an absurdly low price and in 3 hours. My bike feels like new and I spent less than I can believe. Don't hesitate to bring your bike in. You are in great hands.

Encouraged looking at other places/bikes/accessories. Even if I don't buy a bike there, I will buy my accessories there. Thank you for being what a bike shop should be.

I visited this shop for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted immediately when walking in. I was after a race bike after over a decade away from the track and all though they don’t do much in the line of race bikes they did there best to help me out. They even pulled there guy from the back, Adam that was a long time racer to answer all my questions. Everyone was very helpful. I love small businesses like this.

I love how the associates are fast and anticipate my needs. they helped me with locating and removing a tiny metal splinter out of my back tire trend, rebalance my bend front wheel and sold my a light rear bike rack that fits my bikes weird set up. The prices are fair, usually $15-20 or less for most repairs/installs.

The employees were very knowledgeable and took their time helping me figure out what my bikes needed. They were very conscientious.

Knowledgeable staff, great selection, and a relaxed vibe. A great stop for those visiting town and heading to one of the many awesome local trail networks!
