I’ve been getting my brows and other services (facials, eyebrow tint) from Anisa for a couple years. She’s awesome and does a great job. Super sweet and always makes me feel comfortable!

Anisa is amazing! My brows are symmetrical and the tint keeps me from having to fill them in. Booking is a breeze and she's delightful to be around.

Anisa Marie is a true professional with a gift. I have consistently been a client of her services for years. I have not only enjoyed the improvement of my complexion and such, but it has been the elevation of my esteem and confidence - for which I will be forever grateful.

Anisa is amazing!! I have sensitive skin and have struggled with bad breakouts after eyebrow waxing in the past, but I have never had a single zit or any irritation since coming to Anisa. Can't recommend enough!

I didn't start the day off well yesterday.  I missed eating, having caffeine,  and taking my pills because I was running late.  I arrived at the building 5 minutes late and then realized I didn't know where to park.  I had never been to that specific area because I am unfamiliar with Portland.   A mile and a panic attack later, I called Anisa.

I explained what was happening and asked where there was parking.  She told me where to park (there is a Subaru lot a block or two away) and walked me through what was going on.   She told me it was okay and didn't make me feel bad about any of it.

Two panicked phone calls and 15 minutes late, I arrived.  I was talking at the speed of light and totally manic.  I was acting like a complete crazy person and she calmed me down by being kind and patient.  She didn't even mention that I was late.  She made me feel comfortable and talked about whatever I wanted to talk about.  I learned that she is a really interesting and cool person. She has a great attitude too.

When it came to my brows, I didn't know exactly what I wanted, so she showed me a bunch of pictures of brows she had done before.  I picked a few styles and explained what I liked about them.  The wax was warm, but not hot.  It stung a little, but was mostly painless.  My skin also wasn't really red afterwards.  It was a little pink, but I don't think that was the wax or the technique.

I have extremely sensitive skin.  I can't use a lot of skin products,  hair products,  or even makeup because I can have reactions to it. I literally just went through 5 soaps/body washes in the last 2 months to find one that worked for my skin and didn't give me sensory problems.  This doesn't even include the hand soap I bought that gave me hives this week.  I also go through sensory overload relatively easy, especially under stress.  Basically EVERYTHING flushes my skin.  Walking half a block even flushes my skin.  So the wax making my skin only slightly pink speaks volumes about Anisa's special approach to waxing.  I didn't even have to take ibuprofen beforehand and my skin didn't hurt after the initial waxing.  It was like nothing had happened and my brows were magically perfect.

And my brows?  They look amazing.  I grew out my brows for around a year so I could get them professionally shaped.  They were a bit crazy before I came in and they are perfect now.  They were exactly what I had described in my post panic-attack, confused ramblings.

The price was great for the quality too.  Like I'll absolutely spend $30 initially and $20 on follow ups for this kind of excellence.  The salon looks nice and her private room is really cool too.  The whole place has a great vibe and it's clean and well organized.

In conclusion:
It's easy to be a professional when the customer is being normal, stable, and on time.   But when they are an absolute trainwreck, it's effortless to make it much worse.  Anisa showed me a lot of patience and kindness that I will remember.  Her work is phenomenal and I'll be going back.  I will be recommending her to anyone I talk to about brows and about quality services in the Portland area.  And the fact that I'm willing to tell a mortifying story on the internet (where a bunch of strangers can read it and do things like troll me) to support her business is a huge compliment.

If you are going to get your brows done, go to Best Brows in Portland.

I am only in town for a couple of days, and with the covid restrictions, was recommended not to do a walk-in. Not sure if it has always been this way but it currently is a one woman run shop, which is really impressive. As busy as Anisa is, she was able to reply incredibly fast through text, which I thought was top rate multitasking. The booking system is pretty convenient, unfortunately, I wasn't able to schedule an appointment soon enough, but will plan ahead next time I am in town.

Eyebrows really make a difference! Since I began having my brows done by the Best Brows in Portland, I love how they make me look, to the point all I wear now are brows and lipstick. Anisa is that good.

Excellent service. Went in for a tint to cover graying brows. She suggested a grooming as well. The results were amazing.

First I’ll say that I came in without an appointment, so that was my mistake. I haven’t been to many eyebrow places before that don’t take walk ins so I thought it would be fine. When I got there, instead of telling me that walk ins aren’t allowed, I just sat there and waited until someone told me 40 mins later that the eyebrow person wouldn’t be able to take me. Probably could’ve saved 40 mins if I was just told that from the beginning. They didn’t have a receptionist working yet so another woman who had an appointment was also just hanging out waiting to be seen. Not great service regardless of whether or not an appointment was made.
