Market of Choice Belmont

I really like this market, everything looks good and clean and nicely organized! We tried the sandwich, it was awesome, you can choose your own preferences, big pieces of meat with lots of veggies, ingredients, nicely wrapped! The tastes were great, fresh and delicious, so much better than a lot of cafes. More importantly, great price for the quality and quality of food! And they have a nice clean area upstairs to let you sit down and enjoy your food.
The bakery has great desserts, we bought a chocolate cake, it was delicious!
The stuff is very nice and friendly! The bathroom is so nice and clean and has big spaces! They did a great job with details that make you feel comfortable and happy coming here.

Reminds me of a Whole Foods. Very clean layout containing all your basic needs. The hot food in particular stood out to me - looked good! Would have tried had I not already enjoyed lunch

Sophie, at the Market Barista, is always extremely polite and professional! Sophie is always punctual and anlways greets w/ a smile. And the coffee here is delicious and well priced. Kudos.

This is where I get groceries for a long timet. I think that they are good. Not perfect. Prices are fair and it is store a local need to try.

I love shopping here! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is a bit pricey but they always have deals going on and they sell quality food so it’s worth paying a little extra. They have a lot of local Oregon products and organic food, as well as options for all dietary restrictions. But honestly it is the awesome staff that keep me coming back!

Ethan help me pick my first beer out here in Portland (got the number 5). Originally from the MileHigh CO & had to give a shout out to him and his amazing customer service. Came in later tonight and wasn’t too sure what to get. Noon swiped me off my feet with his passion for wine. He definitely isn’t afraid to show off his knowledge to a new girl in town. Thanks for the help gentlemen!!!

Love this quaint but well stocked location! It's always a good idea to come to Market of Choice for a quick lunch, snack, or special occasion good. They also have a really great stock of vegan products. Check out the bakery as well for yummy fresh treats.

First time in the store. Very impressed. Produce was stunning and had a great neighborhood feel to it. It's my new grocery store now.

We enjoyed shopping here and will definitely be back. It's a very nice local market with excellent meats and produce, plus an outstanding variety of grocery items to choose from, especially coffee!
Their bakery department will ruin your diet, from the look of it- the pastries and cakes were gorgeous. If they all taste as good as the peanut butter cookies we took home, then we're in trouble. We tried a loaf of their 9 grain bread also, and it is fantastic!!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the store was super clean and well tended, and there was plenty of parking.

My review is specifically for the kitchen at the Market of Choice.
I've been constantly impressed by the professionalism of the kitchen.
I recently started a new job and needed small catering platters to fit into a very specific budget. Jenn and her crew have been incredible to work with and made my new job much less stressful.

It is such a treat to have a wonderful grocery store to shop at in the Goat Blocks neighborhood, the cashiers and other representatives are fantastic people and they always give a little boost to my day.

Today I had the pleasure of working with one of the best human beings on this planet and its not the first time either, Simone M has a tremendous heart and a exponential impact on Whole Health Care, they are a wealth of knowledge and truly amazing at taking the time to help you on your path to wellness and recovery. I love the coffee shop inside, & the bakery is amazing.

Wonderful customer service! I had a very pleasant conversation with a cashier by the name of Lauren, she was efficient and very friendly and definitely deserves some sort of recognition! I've been shopping here for quite awhile, and the service has always been great, but recently the workers have done nothing but impress me. I think good customer service is one of the most important things for a business, and might I say, Market of Choice has some GREAT service. Will continue to shop here and hope Lauren gets the recognition she deserves :)

The bakery here is BOMB!! Blew me and my girl out of the water with your cupcakes and pastries. So worth the expensive price! Our favorite cashier is LUCY. She is sweet and friendly every single time... Give that girl a raise! Or at least a free cupcake?

This was, unbelievably, my first trip to Market of Choice and it was a little bit like a grocery store paradise. My friend was raving about it and couldn't believe I'd been in Portland for 15 years and hadn't been three. Who knew? Somehow this gem never got on my radar. Not only is it beautiful, the selection of high quality items was massive and very well laid out. There's a large organic offering and a beautiful deli and wine section. There is an incredible selection of cbds, supplements and natural health items that I've previously had to find at online stores. The friendly staff was genuinely glad to be helpful and happy to recommend products they loved. A word of caution...if I'd had more time I could easily have unloaded my entire paycheck in that store! It's like Disneyland for foodies. There's much I don't yet know about this place simply because of the time constraint on my visit but I can tell you I'm looking forward to some serious aisle browsing in the near future to take inventory of all that is available there.

Only commenting/rating on their vegan breakfast sandwich selection....so many options, and very tasty. I especially love the sammies with the Thrilling Foods Bacon on them. Anytime I am in town, and I find myself in this neighborhood, it is a must-stop.

Has everything & reasonably priced. Grab a bite & enjoy it in the balcony area overlooking the store. Restrooms are up there as well. They had the best pure natural products & better priced than New Seasons, Whole Foods, etc. One of the supplements I compared was $5 less! Great deodorants & makeup too. So clean, orderly, & inviting.

I can find almost everything that I want in this little store. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I also notice they value customers' time, because they pause other work to checkout customers. There are some tradeoffs. There is an organic-first selection, and this leads to higher prices. Part of this is caused by the smaller footprint, and the store has prioritized organic foods. I prefer more conventional options. Still, I return because of the many vegan options, convenient hours, and welcoming service.
