First time going there and it was really good. The girl suggested the philly steak sandwich and it was amazing. The fries were really crispy and hot. My daughter got the gyro and there was so much for one sandwich. Definitely going back. Loved it. And the prices weren't bad either.

George's never dissapoints! Great food reasonable prices and very clean!

Om Goodness ok so I was looking for a place that had good gyros I've been other places that have but this place I love their gyros and will be back for more!!! There Philly steak and cheese is good as well I will be going back try George's spot 2 you'll love it!!

I literally come here like 3 times a week. I don’t even eat gyros I just get a pizza puff and fries everytime and they are phenomenal. My friends say the gyros are pretty good tho. Anyways I Love this place and the staff are very nice

The owners of George's Gyros sold me my first Gyros back when I was a Freshman at Wirt High School. That was in 1976 in the Miller area of Gary Indiana. I can still speak with the Owners every once in a while when they are there visiting their son's. And what is truly amazing is that they remember me.

Perfect place to stop in and eat on a cold day. The food is excellent. Comes out fast and steaming hot. They feature local dishes such as the Chicago Hot Dog and Italian sausage. Putting me right at home. We also enjoyed, their Philly cheesesteak and Gyros sandwiches. We will be back for more!

The food was all good. Also..the lady at the register that took my order was cool too. And kinda cute lol

First time eating here and there are three things that I felt were exceptional.

First - the staff. They were patient, helpful and extremely polite. "You never get a second chance to make a first impression." This must be incorporated into their training.

Second - the French fries. I don't know what they season them with, but they were delightful to eat! They weren't greasy; they were actually crispy and had an amazing flavor! Not just crunchy - CRISPY!

And last, but not least the third thing that impressed me there - the lemon rice soup. I enjoy lemon rice soup. I don't think I have ever had a bad serving of lemon rice soup. At worst I've had maybe three bowls in my lifetime that were unremarkable. Their lemon rice soup was the exact opposite of that. I was unable to put my finger on what it was that made it stand out, but it was AMAZING! Was it fresh lemon? Was it the base? Was it zested lemon peel? I don't really know, and furthermore, I don't really care (except I kind of do). You could tell me the secret ingredient is a decomposing hobo and all I would say is "Can I get a couple gallons to go, please?" (definitely not a decomposing hobo...I hope).

All the food that I ordered was excellent, but these three things were worthy of mention. I am looking forward to returning and trying more of their food.

Great place to eat fast food. The chicken philly sandwich is just amazing and the gyro plate is plentiful. Staff is friendly and they serve the food really fast. Prices are affordable. Always reliable for a quick bite to eat.

Workers are always on point. I received a lot of dash orders here and never personally got a complaint. Keep up good job

This sandwich made me cry it's so good! I can't believe how good this Italian beef sandwich is. Fuh-get about the fries, chili, bacon cheeseburger and everything, it's the Italian beef! I traveled about 1000 miles for this experience in Chicago. Drop what you're doing and run to Chicago right now and go here and get an Italian beef. I'm still in tears and just knocked on the floor...it's delicious! Thank you!!!

Always good food and well prepared. Good prices compare to subway. We went there first, changed our minds.

We love a quick trip to George's. My husband and I share a gyros platter and the kids like the corn dogs and burgers and then steal a little of our lamb meat. But that's ok because they give plenty extra. Delicious and a good price and always worth the trip.

Food was SO good and came out hot in like less than 5 minutes. Staff was really friendly too.
