Las Palmitas Grocery & Catering

It's a little store that serves up a lot of flavor. We've been going there for years and love it. My favorite is the tamales and the Puerto Rican rice. My husband likes many of the food choices the owner offers up. Don't feel like cooking? The food here has a home cooked flare! I highly recommend trying it.

The owner is great, if she doesn't have what you want, she'll get it for you on her next order. She is reasonable on the prices. Clean store. I love shopping at Las Palmitas.

If you want authentic; come here, if you want culture; come here. Great customer service. Fresh produce, Hispanic dishes and sides that are on point. Overall you won't be disappointed, I haven't. I Love this place.

First and foremost, these owners/operators keep this place CLEAN. Secondly, the kitchen isn't hidden; they actually cook the food right in front of you all day. Third, the selection is amazing for the space inside the store.

Coffee, soda crackers, spices, exotic fruits and vegetables, home-recipe meals, imported drinks, candies and confections and more all under one roof.

This place Rocks and has alittle bit of everything Latino/PRcan that you might need to start or finish whatever you got cooking back at the Casa 🏘
They also sell comida Hecho en Casa de Mano like Lechon, Tamales 🫔 , Empanadas y Arroz y Mas🌶🫑🥫🍮🪇🪘🎶🎵😃

Awesome Puerto Rican style food and groceries, with family- like-super-friendly service!!..I recommend this store for great ready-made food, or ethic ingredients for making Latin-style masterpieces!

I can't say enough good things about this store! The owner, a beautiful Hispanic woman is one of my favorite humans on the planet!! She's so lovely and kind to everyone. The whole staff is...I adore this store...and the food is amazing!! My favorite...the spicy mangos!!!

My wife and I have been coming here for over a decade. Homemade good with a realistic touch. Irma and Wally are fantastic and we absolutely support this business and you should too if you like real Latin food.

Omg, omg, omg! This place is the real deal. I'm from Chicago and have been looking for an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant or store in these parts, lol, and I have found it. The prices are very reasonable, the service is awesome, the food, omg, the food is authentic, delicious, fresh and fantabulous. The owner is such a sweetheart. I used to drive to Sabor Latino in Humboldt Park to get my fix but not anymore, this place right here is the answer 🥰👍🏽🤩

I absolutely love this place! As far as I know, this the only place to get home made Puerto Rican food in the area and it's fantastic! A special thanks to Wally for making a special order for my wife and I for Valentine's day! You can find specialty ingredients here that aren't available in most supermarkets as well. I highly recommend shopping here if you are looking for good food and hard to find Latin ingredients. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful as well!

My family has been going here for years!! The food is delicious, and always fresh. The quality of groceries are always top notch as well. Honestly even after all this time they still impress us! ☺

Want to thank the owner and her son for being so kind and generous. I explained how my husband loves their lechon and pasteles and his situation. When I went to check out they told me it was on the house, no charge. I got teary eyed. Now my husband is savoring every bite. Thank You from the bottom of our hearts. 😘😘

Love this spot. Nice little mom & pops Hispanic grocery store with hot food available too! Highly recommend the pastelitos. For only $1.50 each you can't beat it.

Not only authentic food but went in looking for ingredients I needed for a recipe I was making at home and didn't see what I needed, they were very helpful and showed me what to use and how to prepare it. I'm a new forever customer.
