This is very much a curated second-hand store. You get the feeling they only sell the best items donated and then make the effort to display their wares attractively. Because of this, the prices might seem to be on the higher side, but take heart, on most of the price tags you can see exactly what dates the price decreases. So, if you love it, but not the original price, you can take your chances it will still be there when the price decreases. It’s like the Las Vegas of Salem thrift stores.

We love this place. The ladies that staff it are fun and very helpful. We have found many treasures at prices. When ever we return to Salem we always make a point to stop by.

First time there. Very lovely items. The ladies volunteering are so sweet. It's great to buy second hand and funds go to a great cause. I'll be going back for sure!

LOVE this shop!! It is always just packed with myriad things to look at! Love their pricing schedule, where the price of an item comes down at scheduled intervals. Items are well-organized and grouped: glass and crystal in one room, clothing in another, etc. I always find at least one treasure when I shop here. And the best part: ALL PROCEEDS go directly back into the community to benefit school children in need, and other great philanthropies! This shop is run by the Assistance League of Salem-Keizer, and is staffed exclusively by volunteers. (That means all the money spent here gets funneled straight to local people in need!) Amazing people, wonderful organization. SO worth your time to come check out this treasure of a shop!

This resale shop has good things. We buy every time we go there. The displays are good. The place is neat and clean. The volunteers are well groomed, well dressed, friendly and polite. We look forward to going there again and again.

This shop has a nice big sign outside saying "The Daue House". It's is big blue historical house, which is nice just to be in. My favorite resale shop EVER! A group of volunteers man the shop and all monies raised go to benefit children in various ways, including Operation School Bell, I believe it's called. The place is spotless, without the stink that's common where used items are sold. People can donate their things or have the shop sell them. Each month that an item lingers at the shop, it gets discounted and you can see right on the tag how much it will cost after a certain date. Everything in here is clean, tasteful, and some is antique. The prices are very good too. Furniture is around the corner, at the Annex on S.Commercial

I have been both consigning and buying for 20 years now. I have had nothing but good experiences on both. The store is always very clean, organized, and very appealing to the eye! I hope to continue doing business for 20 more.

Love this place! I like that the longer an items been there the cheaper the price gets. So if something good has been looked over you might get it for a great price.

Lots of jewelry and nicer household goods are available at reduced prices at the Daue House. All proceeds go to help school children in our city.
