Few months ago, have great experience thru this rent company.
Pickup from airport and after I returned car, they dived my back, friendly stuff at front desk, sad not remember the name of person.
If need, I sure I came back for another car.

By Far the best car rental experience in NWI. Fast and courteous and very professional. They got me into a rental for a really good value and treated me like a valued customer. I will definitely use this location for all my future rental needs.

Absolutely love this business! The fastest process ever for car rental and return was fast as well. I've rented two cars a week apart from each other and they were both clean and smelled fresh. The price for renting a car is the cheapest I've found. 10 an hour but 45 a day; one car I had for a week and the price was a little over 200 I believe. Deposit is 200 for credit card. 250 for debit card (YOU DO GET IT BACK ONCE THE VEHICLE IS TURNED BACK IN, BACK ON YOUR CARD). Because the cars are used (I believe Enterprise buys new cars to rent), if a customer hears anything out of the ordinary, call rent a wreck to let them know what you are hearing and they will switch out the vehicle for another (this happened to my parents and they were able to switch vehicles). I did not have to do that though because both vehicles I rented drove beautifully. Ray is so personable. If he does not already know (which I believe he does), I will keep renting vehicles from him and his establishment.

I was forced to get a rental from Enterprise last week. A HORRIBLE experience. When I found Rent-A-Wreck, I was hesitant at first. Once I gave them a call, it was the best decision I ever made. No hassle at all. I was able to rent a reliable vehicle that addressed all my needs. The service was awesome and I recommend their business to anyone needing a rental car. Thanks again!

Super easy experience and nice customer service! The car I got was clean and reliable. Their rates were also the lowest in town. They also don’t hassle you if you only have a debt card. Will definitely rent from them again.

The staff here are absolutely great people! When I first moved back here to Indiana from Arizona, I could not Rent A Car at a reasonable price anywhere! I found Rent A Wreck on Google and it was the best choice I ever made! They worked with me on countless occasions until I was able to get myself established. Louie was the first person I met and he really helped me out big time! And the owner Mr. Muhammad is one of the coolest owners I ever met. And also Mrs. Faye who works during the week also gets cool points as well! She's a sweetheart! You guys will always get business from me and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

The customer service I received from Ms. Lafaye was outstanding!! I have never rented a car before and she has made my first experience very delightful. She answered all of my questions precisely and gave me the full rental experience. I would recommend this location to my family and friends and look forward to returning and working with her in the future.

After standing in the rain for several hours flying in from Phoenix due to EVERY car rental company not having 1 car or closed at 12pm, I found Rent a Wreck!!!!! Even though I had to wait an hour, due to waiting for a return. I received a call saying we just got a car and you were the first person we had to call!!! I was appreciative. The amount of professionalism I received was hands down the best decision I’ve made. I would recommend Rent A Wreck to all my friends and family. The fleet selection was a perfect fit. Muhammed (owner) was so pleasant and kind. I will continue to do business with Rent A Wreck anytime I’m in the Indiana/Illinois area. I did not feel like a customer. I felt like family.

On October 9th 2017 the first day I ran across Rent-A-Wreck in Hammond was actually one of the best car rental facilities I've ever been to. The service was very speedy and comfortable unlike on this very day I was very upset with renting or trying to rent a vehicle with Enterprise and the poor treatment that they gave me. I went over to rent a wreck and the compassion and excellent customer service was definitely there starting with Le Fay her excellent customer service and compassion and Speedy service help me in such away I could never rent from anyone else but this company from here on out also after returning the rental vehicle Louie which is another associate and salesman there as well was very very excellent with helping me purchase a vehicle from the company which I did not know can happen and happen in such a way it was nothing but a blessing to me because honestly I did not know if I will be able to get a car in such a short period Of time to be able to continue to go to work and provide for my children and family I just want to say thank you to you guys you are the best rental car facility I've been to and I will continue to recommend everyone I know who needs service like this to come to this location.

Excellent location and awesome staff. Rented from them numerous times and had a great experience each time. Prices are outstanding and cars are top notch. My husband and I also are currently buying vehicles from this location. I feel your in need of a vehicle defiently stop by and see Mohamed. He will work with you and get you on the road in no time. Put in a reservation and picked up the car 30 minutes later. Louis provided quick and friendly service. He even helped me disassemble my bicycle to fit it in another car. Would come back again. Price was decent.

Hands Down the best location Jessica is a amazing rep very friendly takes her time but quick getting you in and out. Goes threw paper work with you checks all cars before giving anyone anything. Burbank location staff is rude they repossess your car for no reason to take your deposit and charge you extra fees. They don’t answer the phone the guy on the evening shift is rude he talks to customers disrespectfully and doesn’t care to resolve anything unless the police is called. He holds your belongings and threatens to not return them until you pay them what he feels you owe, NEVER go to that location HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED ASAP.

I really like place. Most of all because The agent LaFaye is very professional, pleasant, honest and seeing her there makes me come back every time. She is a wonderful person. And have the best consumer service that I have seen in years. She explains whatever I don’t understand she is very informative. All the cars that I chose from are in great condition. I’m surprised it’s called rent a wreck. Make sure everyone read about the deposit that way u won’t be surprised coming in when they let you know. This place is really affordable once you know all you need to know . And LaFaye will take great care of you.

I came to rent a wreak because I had a out of state license. No other rental place would rent to me but this place welcomed me with open arms. I was able to rent a vehicle with no hesitation. The guy at the desk was super friendly and helpful. He explained all the accommodations, pricing and details. Fast and friendly service with nice vehicles. I highly recommend this place. I've rented cars from here a couple of times. The service is great, & always reliable. Louie took exceptionally good care of me, when no other rental company had vehicles available. For that reason, I highly recommend Rent-A-Wreck.

With the name like Rent-A-Wreck! I was very impressed with the selections of rental vehicles. I've been a customer for over 3yrs. My agent (Lafaye) was outstanding. Great personality, friendly, and very patient with her customers. The office was nice and clean. Mr. Mohamad was very pleasant as well. I highly recommend Rent-A-Wreck. The hell with enterprise, Rent-A-Wreck for life baby.

This is a perfect place to rent a car. Cheaper then Enterprise and nice clean automobile's. Plus the service was very good the lady Jessica helped me get into the car I wanted. I recommend this car place if you want something reasonable as far as price range and decent cars.

Excellent and quick customer service! I was in and out in under 20 minutes for rental and return.

Update 2019: I've since purchased a car from there and am well pleased.

Another update 2022: Bought another car!!!
