Hessville Park

Played at this park before the Mexican Independence Day Parade. My son is almost 2yrs old and he loved the park and the splash pad. It was too cold to play in the water but I liked the set up and that it's FREE. I liked the rubber flooring and that the equipment was suitable for him.

Great, quiet, peaceful park. There is a roller skating/skateboard rink inside this park that is well maintained. Trash cans appear to be emptied often and are plentiful. Parking lots and grass were free of debris. The morning that I visited, parking spots were readily available (including multiple handicapped openings) and were clearly marked. There is even fresh, colored mulch around the base of trees. I felt safe in this park, walking my dog and enjoying the near-autumn breeze under a shade tree. Overall this park is very well maintained and is a fine Hessville facility.

This is a great park! Soft floor under playground, splash park, skate park, sun shades and bathrooms. You could stay all day! Picnic tables and water fountains. Splash area was clean and the water smells faintly like chlorine so you know the water was clean too. Very fun day.

Great place to take the kids on a hot summer day. Playground, splash pad to cool off in and a nice skate park. Plenty of room to have a picnic and a covered area with tables.

Update 7/27/2019: Rebuilt and it is amazing!

The splash pad is awesome, the equipment is definitely for older kids. Great park, no mosquitos

Great for family time walking dog have picnic and play around on swings but most of all water park n basketball games skate park so much fun with bathroom 🚻 😀

Very nice park lots of kids out there playing they had a skateboard park basketball courts a play area and everybody was friendly

Excellent park. I'm a skater and this skate park is top tier. Hammond does a really good job catering to the people. Very nice.

Great soft ground for the kids to play on

This newly renovated park is MUCH better then it was before. They added a new skate park, interactive water pad, rubber playground, and also a new picnic area. Before not many kids would be there but this year there's ALWAYS kids so far and that's awesome. Getting kids out and active. I'm super happy. They did a great job on this.

It's getting better everyday, they just replaced the rubber ground to the playground. Hopefully they will install a water fountain soon since they had that before construction. The new canopies don't protect from the sun much, but they're nice and the splash pad and skate park should be awesome when finished!

Nice clean park very kid friendly. Enjoyable family outing.

Well the distance between attractions is perfect. It was clean, organized... rules seem off, though- "no sunscreen while on splash pad" - you WANT kids to burn and get skin cancer? Maybe clarify.

We love this park! Even fully packed its a great time. Kids love the skatepark especially. Bathrooms havent been open so that shortens our time here. But, other than that, it's great!

My son enjoyed his time at the park. Very accommodating and peaceful.

Everything is very well done and lots of fun. The only thing that bothers me is when people bring their dogs and leave their dogs poop near/on the park.Please pick up after your pets!

I stopped at Hessville Park to enjoy a fountain drink which I bought nearby at a Speedway station on sale. The park was empty and I enjoyed the weather with the windows down. It was also very quiet during the time I was there.

We go here from time to time and each time we have a blast. There's a sprinkler system that is on in the summer we all run through it. Nice scenery, a big park with indoor bathrooms, picnic tables and a small skateboarding area.

Lots of newly planted trees, skate park, interactive water fountsin/play area. Great playground for all ages. Nice walking path and updated restrooms! Nice gazebo too!
