Sip Coffee House & Artisan Cafe

Great staff and great food. Not a huge coffee junkie but can always count on The Sip to stray me away from my norm. Nice little environment, with great music, vibes, and most importantly a great staff. Alec and his entire staff know the importance of community and demonstrate that everyday. Even being in a very historic district with a lot of shops, The Sip cements itself as one of the finer establishments you would not regret visiting.

It was really busy, so we got our stuff to go. Great drinks and pastries! Very cute inside.

Went again and were able to sit inside and have coffee and eat.
I had The Hobbit sandwich, but my hub had the lemon rice soup.
My sandwich was soooo good!!! Hub said the soup wasn't lemony enough for his taste.

The staff is patient and friendly, the food is delicious, and the menu includes options for all manner of preferences and restrictions.
On a late Sunday evening, scooting in from out of town, a bowl of French onion and half a Yard Bird sandwich hit the spot. In the chilly February weather, cocoa would have been perfect ... but as I'm allergic to chocolate, I ordered the white hot chocolate (confident there would be no cross-contamination after mentioning the allergy) and it was spot on!

This place is a real find for us and perfect stop on the way to Chicago. They have a lot of break fast options along with pastries coffee and tea. The inside of the cafe is fun and quirky. We loved it. It’s a cozy little place to stop by and relax. The service is really good. Definitely recommend this place. We look forward to stop by soon.

Immaculate vibes. Love the local art and mismatched furniture. Always have great rotating drink options. Their food is AMAZING, and everything is well-priced. Took my senior pictures here a few years ago. All locations are great. I like the highland location best, just because it's the biggest, but the crown point one will always have a special place in my heart ❤

Moved to the area recently and took a nice Saturday walk with family to try Sip out. Sat outside and all enjoyed a light breakfast with specialty latte or smoothie. Will make this a favorite to support local business.

over all this place is amazing. the atmosphere is very warm and cozy, it’s a good place to come in and sit to study or to grab a coffee with friends. great food and the staff is friendly. they have a variety of different food items as well as drinks. their pastries are delicious and they’re made in house. i highly recommend the heartthrob, it’s definitely worth it!!

Walk past this place all the time and after seeing another review where they allowed dogs outside on the patio decided to stop by and have a cold brew. The server (young male with blonde highlights) was phenomenal. The cold brew with that sugar free crumble was SUPER good and cheaper than Starbucks. Loved the ambiance and just sitting on the patio watching people walk by. Servers even brought out little water bowls for the dogs. Will absolutely be coming back, and disappointed it took me so long to try it out!

The inside is very nice and atmospheric. Gives heavy grandmother's house vibes. The staff is very friendly as well. I have not tried their food but their drinks are very good. The only downside is there was no place to sit down because the place was packed!

I always enjoy coming here!! The food is always good as well as the coffee!! My favorite is Ashley she’s literally the sweetest and always makes sure you’re taken care of fast! I love talking to her she is just the nicest!

stopped into sip today for lunch and got the ewok sandwich! so good!!! the presentation is always amazing. I absolutely love the workers and the atmosphere! HIGHLY recommend stopping the next time you are in the square :)

This is an excellent place to have a great coffee and great sandwich, very intimate place, makes you feel like home, staff is wonderful, polite and there's no rush feeling like in other eateries or caffé places. I went here with my friends and everything was amazing! The server was super friendly, the art was extremely cute, and the food tasted delicious!! I would definitely suggest for others to eat here because It’s an amazing experience in itself!

Was looking to kill some time in Crown Point, and needed a bit of caffeine to get me moving. Figured this would be a great time to swing by an old favorite in town, Sip Coffee House. This time, I opted for the Cinnamon Roll Latte, which is a latte made with vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon. With a simple substitution of oat milk, this quickly becomes a lovely vegan treat on a fall day. That sweet foam on top paired with the cozy spiced latte left me feeling warm and ready to tackle the day!

Whenever I come in to this Sip location, the atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, and fun. Jordan always provides the best customer service and takes care of me whenever I come in. My favorite dish here had to have been Jakes Bacon Pancakes (please bring them back im literally begging)

Our favorite coffee shop by far!! They have everything and all their pastries are handcrafted or made by someone locally! I love supporting small businesses especially when they make everything homemade! Plenty of vegan options and vegan pastries. Wonderful staff! They explain and go out of their way. And, with everything going on ie covid, I feel safe here. They take precautions and insure people follow the guidelines. The local art is neat! Favorite coffee place and establishment! And love that they always have cute named and tasty different offerings everytime we go in! The macaroons are amazing!

Had the lucky goat here, absolutely great coffee! Really nice atmosphere, overall very nice staff and management. Definitely a nice little homey hole in the wall to check out :)
