Lovely little jaunt in South Eugene. Typically quite clean, somewhat vertical and parking can be a bit tight at the bottom of the trail so arrive early or be lucky!

Absolutely love it. It is very steep for beginners and is not a very good path for strollers. I take the wild iris loop on my lunch breaks sometimes because it is so short. Absolutely beautiful and if you’re still you might find some geckos and a fairy garden.

After 26 years in town heard about this great little hike! Nice trail that takes you through the Madrone and Oak trees to the summit which gives you a nice view of the West Eugene area. The hike is a loop which brings you back to the trailhead. Not as steep as Spencer’s Butte but views are almost as impressive!

Beautiful trails. Close to town. Dog/kid friendly. Easy paths, not rocky. Hikes up to the tip of another landing or in a loop. Wild irises blossoming at the top along path edges. Great views. Fairy garden at middle point of loop if u watch closely

Great trail. A lot of uphill and then, of course downhill. So be prepared for that. We went early on a Tuesday and by the time we left there were lots of people. Do not go on the weekends! So many people and no parking! There is a Buck in the parking lot, which is nice. And please, ALWAYS, pack out what you pack in!

What a nice hike! Definitely uphill half the way. Broke a good sweat but felt amazing and accomplished at the top.

Pretty, family-friendly hike. Lots of uphill though. Dogs are welcome on leash. Easy to get to. The parking lot is small and it’s popular on weekends. The trail seemed very well maintained.

Great trail, close to town, lovely western views. Many tree species to admire. I heard an owl as I was leaving, coming from the forested hillside to the north. And alpacas by the parking area! Did I mention it's free?

Very well maintained hike on graveled trail. 500 ft of elevation gain from top to bottom makes it quite strenuous. The views of the valley and hills are quite spectacular. You can park at the bottom on Bailey Hill, or either of the two trailheads at the top. Hike is 3.5mi if you make the full loop.

Wild Iris Ridge is a beautiful hike. There are a variety of paths and entry points. Parking on Bailey Hill is awful.

Great little hike! You choose whether to push yourself up the switch backs or to take the more leisurely loop trail to the ridge.

Great for late afternoons when weather is cooler: more sunlight than any other Ridgeline hike. More open. Also better for dogs. Officially leash only of course, but dogs are often unleashed and then leashed when others are coming (east to see ahead for this). Trail is steep at first. 3.5 mile loop is great, plus optional extra small loops. Lovely madrone groves, lots of variety.

Beautiful trail, a mix of steeper portions and meandering shady sections. There are places where there is water on the path in most seasons, so wear appropriate shoes. Also be aware of the poison oak, there's a lot on the trail sides. There is a port a potty in the parking lot. I just wish there was more parking.

My favorite place to hike in Eugene. I love it in April/May when the wild irises are in bloom!

Great hike, respectable people, and great exercise. Trying to get it done in 45 minutes. So far only 53 minutes

Great trail that can be a bit overcrowded and with parking issues. Some housless folks hang out at times. Don't leave your vehicle unattended after sunset.

An easy to medium-difficulty hike with many different ways to go and explore. There are benches here and there, some educational labels for the wildlife, and nicely kept trails.
