Beech Grove Cemetery

Beautiful historical cemetery. Those that complain about the conditions need to know that it’s funded only by the city and donations. Volunteers help clean and there is a small crew that mows, digs the plots and maintains the grounds. If you’re not part of the solution then don’t complain about a problem. Volunteer to pick up trash and limbs. Donate money or start a fundraiser.

An often underappreciated, yet still wonderful, historic asset for the city of Muncie. The current staff and leadership are doing a fantastic job maintaining the property.

I have family laid to rest here, my mom being the latest! I am very pleased of the service and would recommend anyone doing business with this staff. God Bless!

Found father and daughter grave site.

My mother and Nanny are out here. They throw away flowers on certain graves and not others seemingly when they want. Its not kept up like it should be, but they're still working on it. There's a new monument for soldiers near the end of service people headstones that's pretty cool. There's alot of people buried here and its a maze to get thru, but its a peaceful final resting place for loved ones.

This cemetery has a lot of people buried there from Muncie's history. We drove through today to find the grave of Charles Gill, one of the Presidents of the Gill Clay Pot Co. You would think with this being a historical place in Muncie they would take much better care of it. The Veteran's memorials were pitiful. They had a tree that had fallen over on top of graves. It looked like it had been there a while. They also had headstones that had fallen off and were not fixed. It was just a sad sight. It is also worth mentioning it is poorly marked making it difficult to locate grave sites.

The grounds are poorly kept and having multiple family members here it's hard to visit knowing and seeing that the grounds are clearly not kept up. I just visited my sister and had to mow around her headstone due to the grass being so high.
