Best taqueria in Salem! They'd put others out of business if they were open 7 days a week!

Worth the wait if there's a crowd but sometimes the world just aligns and there's zero wait! My go-to is the lengua burrito but you won't be disappointed with anything you order. The salsas are all great as well. If you like spicy, definitely go for the habanero!!

The meat here is tasty, fresh, tender and perfectly cooked. Awesome salsas, grilled onions and jalapenos too.
I'm always treated well by the servers.

AMAZING! Reminds me so much of home back in Cali. Yum to the tacos al pastor(pic below) and the Gringas de carne asada. Honestly, everything is fantastic, including the salsa bar. The guac salsa is my favorite. El Taco Melon is a necessity in life!!😉👍🏼❤

Amazing! I've loved everything I've tasted from this taco stand and look forward to trying it all. After my first size up trip (tacos only), I decided the next time I would get a burrito for later as well. Al pastor is my go-to meat and theirs is delicious.

The best tacos in Oregon hands down. I drive 2 hours from Washington on Friday nights for this. Friendly, and THE best tacos at El Taco Melon!

I'm personally so picky with my meat.. but the carne asada tacos are bomb! Im always looking forward to eating here! Definitely recommend!! Best tacos in Salem! Hands down.

I had one bad experience out of like 80 good ones and that was just because the person infront actually ordered 200 tacos so i had to leave before they finished his and took my order; they are friendly and good food. It is expensive in comparison to some others and sometimes can be a long line but it's my favorite taco spot.

This is authentic Mexican food. It's my favorite spot to hit on the weekends. The food is affordably priced and the portions are generous! No need to worry about the language barrier, if you don't speak Spanish the cashier has always been bilingual when I visit here. If you like traditional Mexican food then this is the the place. The only negative is they are not open on the weekdays other than Friday!

Tacos are amazing! Well seasoned meat. Clean area. Great customer service. What more can you ask for? I'd post a photo, but I ate my tacos too fast. hahaha. Go out and get you some!

Best taco place in town.
The only thing l don’t like about this place is the rude old lady who helps you serve the salsa. She is very rude and seems irritated all the time. She also rushes you and if you unintentionally spill some salsa/onion or cilantro she will make noises and give you a bad look. I would appreciate it she would have a smile in her face or at least not to be rude at us, the customers.

Still one of the best places for a burrito or some tacos had one bad experience years ago but that was it evertime they get better service food stays good.

We live out of town and this is a must eat at anytime we are here. Best food ever.

Hands down, best place ever. I’m from Arizona, and this place is the best. Worth waiting in the line in the cold and rain. The bean and cheese burrito is the best I’ve ever had - and that’s saying a lot. The carne asada gringa is delish. We’ve never been disappointed.

Just bomb tacos. Wait on Friday night was lengthy but well worth it. Very very authentic, comparable to what you would get at a taco stand in Tijuana or Mexico City. A wide selection of carnes and great champurrado, Jamaica and horchata. I got the chicharron, cabeza and carne asada tacos and they were all delicious and full of flavor. If you’re in Salem at all just go here, you won’t regret it.

Man this place is awesome! It's the only taco stand in town with these flavors. Definitely from here, seems pretty authentic, there is always a line even at 10pm. Line moves fast

I love this place. The food is great. The line moves fast. The price is pretty good $$. I go about twice a month if not more and I've never been disappointed
