Strack & Van Til

Always has everything we need, plus it's close to my house. The employees are super friendly & always smiling. The people in the deli work very hard, are always kind & you never have to stand there long like other places where they ignore that you're standing there. All I can say is that it feels like a family store.

Tony, the produce manager, in the middle of stocking, took the time to stop and explain how to pick a good honeydew melon. He also made sure we got what else we needed. He was very kind, personable, & knowledgeable. I appreciate the high level of his customer service. Thank you Tony for the fruit knowledge, the conversation, & the honeydew! I highly recommend Tony & the produce department @ Strack & Van Til. I will return.

My daughter had a Friday the 13th wedding. April Yanez designed the most beautiful bridal bouquet! She put together a victorian/gothic theme that fit the occasion perfectly! The flower selection was amazing. The bouquet actually looked prettier as the day went on with roses and buds opening up wide. Couldn't be more happier!

Always clean. Lovely floral department. Well organized store. Glad to be able-bodied but wish they would ask if you'd like a carry out. Bring your reusable bags to receive $.05 for each bag they fill.

The best grocery store around always fully stocked and clean good prices as well.

Upper scale grocery store, great selection of tasty already prepared foods. Wonderful customer service and easy and fast checkout.

I was pleasantly surprised as to how well stocked they are. A wide variety of cheeses, a nice deli, fresh fish and more. Friendly staff. Overall, a very positive shopping experience.

I do most of my weekly grocery shopping here. There are a few specialty items like organic pre-drained tofu for my wife and organic frozen broccoli that I get from Walmart, but generally the bulk of everything comes from here.

I do wish they carried a few more options for organic frozen vegetables, but shopping here is such a better experience than Walmart or Meijer. Even when it's not busy, they still have multiple registers open AND people to bag your groceries for you! I'm so thankful for that!

The store is clean and well stocked. Reasonably priced groceries. I didn't notice if they have motorized shopping carts but there is plenty of room to maneuver my wheelchair without running into everything.

I love stracks. It is the only grocery store I go to. The deli is great and the soda selection is awesome.

Luv this place! We go there once a month for take out dinners. Where else can you get a whole rotisserie chicken, a huge chicken pot pot and 2 big sides for $23 and No tip required 😄 Really good food , the deli is amazing with every cheese you could think of. It's a cheap date guys!! Go check it out

Not quite as nice as the north store, but still far and away better than any other option closer than South Bend. On the other hand, other customers were surprisingly rude to me here. It's not the store's fault, but it was bad enough that I still hesitate to return. Nevertheless, they deserve 5 stars for quality, cleanliness, availability. A much better resource for special diets than other local options.

Look for a specific item. There and Meijer has them . Great for appetizers and deserts

This review is particular to the flower shop. I have ordered flowers several times from here, and they always look like the picture, are affordable, and are quality flowers (ie: not wilting on arrival). The delivery service is always on time, I am always confident ordering flowers from Stracks!

The selection is fantastic! The store was clean and the employees were helpful and friendly. At least once a month we will be driving to Valpo from Plymouth to do some shopping.

There was so many different options of fresh fruits and vegetables. They even carry some of the more exotic fruits! And at a really reasonable price! They literally had everything I needed and then some. The sushi was pretty good. I got some fresh bakery items, which were delicious, as well! There were sale items up and down every isle. The store was really clean. Staff was very friendly. This is actually probably the best Strack's I've been to.

The staff was very friendly and polite. When We were greeted when we entered. The person working behind the cheese counter was super nice and informative. I was also delighted to find this store Carrie's crumpets. Also love the variety of goat cheeses. I was also happy to find that they carry Oberweis milk. Overall great shopping experience!
