The place was excellent all around.

The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. My friend got eggs that were cooked to where the yolks would run, but only on contact, which is exactly what he requested. All specialty requests were met, and our waitress did not hesitate to ask questions to confirm items. Wanting to make sure everything was perfect for us.

My party and I got seated within seconds of entering, even with it being packed wall to wall. The staff was instantly getting us starting waters, answering questions, etc. While waiting, we noticed an employee standing, and he was willing to chat and was absolutely friendly. We would have never even guessed he was a bus boy, and he had tables cleared and cleaned within literal seconds of the party leaving. Which was amazing.

The place was a little packed, but the staff was incredibly trained and experienced and was able to handle it very well. It amazed my party, and I watched them maneuver the tightness of the place. As we wondered why they haven't expanded yet.

It is an excellent place to eat, and we will be going back very soon.

Too notch breakfast 🥞🍳 in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking 🅿. Pancakes 🥞 are too die for. Coffee 🍵 served very hot. Waitresses are top notch. Worth the drive from Merrillville Indiana too Portage. They have a great big menu. You won't be disappointed.

Today was my second time coming here and everything once again was amazing!! The food is always delicious and the portions are on the larger side. The prices are fairly cheap. Our server today did amazing, she was so busy with it being a Sunday morning but she was still attentive to us. 100/10.

This place is a neighborhood gem! There is plentiful free parking out front. The interior is always clean and inviting. The entrance is handicapped accessible. The things that appeal to me most are the friendly, fast, and efficient service from the wait staff, along with the fresh, delicious entrée meals that are served. I have visited numerous times. I have tried breakfast and lunch offerings. I can honestly say that I have not once been disappointed! The food is served quickly. It's fresh, hot, and delicious, with excellent quality and quantity for the price! They also offer a senior menu. Yes, they have high chairs. They have clean, handicapped accessible restrooms. The owner, Maria, is humble and committed to providing the patrons with a delicious meal for a fair price, with a pleasurable experience. I strongly recommend making this your breakfast and lunch spot too! 😋

We celebrated a sister's birthday yesterday. Our waitress was so much fun,helpful, and altogether outstanding. Delicious hot food, and I was amazed at reasonable prices. We ate breakfast there and ordered lunch to go. Truly 5 🌟

This place is amazing. We went during a Sunday rush, so I was expecting it to be busy and slow. We sat immediately, was served our food incredibly fast, and our drinks didn’t empty. The waitress was super sweet and you can tell that her and the team has been doing it awhile. It was great food and a great time.

Great breakfast spot in town! Service and atmosphere were lovely and very cozy. Breakfast food was delicious, eggs were fluffy, hash browns crispy, and pancakes just the right amount of sweetness. I've ordered takeout as well and food is just the same quality. Yum!

What makes this establishment stand out compared to any other in the region aside from the bustling atmosphere, the amazing presentation of food commonly found anywhere are the waitresses who cannot be trained to be as ingratiating as they are. That is from human nature but I would like to single out Jo as the most enter6 as she makes your meal seen as if you are "home" and as important as family with Julie barely a half step behind in the hospitality department.
Keep up the good work and change nothing and success will remain yours alongside these very magnetic personalities in waitress disguise.

Had an omelet and it was delicious! Waitress was very friendly and brought us fresh coffee a few times. Will definitely go back! Prices were very reasonable!!

Great service. Great food and atmosphere. Lots of choices on the menu. Large portions. I think our server was Anetta. Professional and pleasant. Not expensive.

Extremely busy tells me they are extremely popular. Everyone was so friendly, their menu is eclectic and there are almost too many options because everything sounds amazing! The food arrived piping hot and was amazing! We will be back and I would recommend this restaurant everyone. You'll leave satisfied and happy.

The food is always hot, freshly made, and delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful with children. Waitresses are always on point with checking in and seeing if you need anything or a refill. Much more inexpensive than other places and very clean all around as well. We refer to them as our "greasy spoon" with all the love ❤
