Dollar Tree

Compared to any of the Madison stores, this one is worth the miles to get to Portage. Well stocked, well organized and friendly helpful employees. Keep up the good work!

Line wasn't long, but one customer had a large quantity of items. Another gal immediately opened another register so I and others could pay for our one or 2 things and got out quickly.

Love this location. Usually have things that others are sold out.

Great valentine selection and card selection. 3 Employees, 2 females and a male were openly complaining about their jobs which was inappropriate and should have been in a break room away from customers hearing their unhappiness with their jobs. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Nice store. Clean. I can usually find what I need, but dollar stores can be iffy as far as available stock.

I’ve been in many Dollar Tree stores across the country since I travel for work and I have to say without a doubt, this store location is the cleanest, most organized, and most fully stocked Dollar Tree that I’ve ever seen! I was in shock with how nice the entire store looked and I didn’t have to rummage through piles to find the item I wanted...bonus!
This store has a great grab n go snack selection too!

The store offers great finds. Cute little decorations for parties. Inexpensive birthday cards/bags/tissue paper. A nice selection of balloons. It's very clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We love the Portage Dollar Tree! It is clean, well stocked, no carts or boxes cluttering up all the aisles and the workers are all very friendly. It is SO much better than the dirty, poorly stocked Hobart store.

Nice store to get bargains. Especially around holidays. Seems to stay well stocked, as some stores aren't (due to covid) . I am picky on what I buy, somethings you can get a better buy elsewhere. Still worth the time to look. One issue, I don't think you should wait in line while the cashier fills 10 balloons. Pay for them and someone else fills them so the line keeps moving.

This. Is a great dollar tree store! Its a newer building, and is always kept clean. They have a good assortment of food items, and most of the items are pretty good quality. Where else can you get a loaf of bread, kitchen towels, or batteries for a buck nowadays??? Definitely worth it!

Today I had one of the best trips to the dollar tree I have ever had!! Everyone was so nice! The amount of balloons and selection they already had up and available for customers was remarkable!!

Is it weird to love a store!? This is the biggest cleanest dollar tree I've ever been into. I travel a lot and have gone in to dozens of dollar trees and this Portage location is by far the best around!!

Great as always! They have such amazing/unique items for only $1! Today's gem = cherry blossom scented cleaner! Woo hoo! :)

My favorite dollar store

They have just about every household items you may need from day to day. It's a nice quick place to come and grab something

[Update 5/21/19] Dollar tree is just amazing it's evolved into a mini grocery/department store if you need any household items it's probably going to be here even things like milk and eggs, ice cream, cleaning products, there's just so much to chose from.

Best Dollar Tree around! The Chesterton store is a joke. This store in Portage has the best selection, most unusual products, very organized, clean, great service, lot's of staff on hand to help out, and is very big! The biggest selection of snacks I have ever seen in a Dollar Tree! Plus, they carry some unusual items as well that I tried and were delicious! 5 thumbs up for Portage Dollar Tree!

Dollar tree is one of my favorite places. When you get something that breaks or is broken, keep your receipt and they take it back. They won't give you money but you can exchange it for something else. I'm good with that.

There are items at Dollar Tree that I frequently buy. Now that my duckies are tighter, I've added more to my list of must-haves from Dollar Tree(Check-out lines are longer too)
