The Lobby by Greyhouse

I stopped by for the first time today for a quick to-go breakfast and was so impressed by the space & the service! I was hoping to try the sausage gravy, but it has sold out for the day, so I ordered the biscuits and mushroom gravy (pictured) instead- it was so delicious! The biscuits were fluffy and buttery, and the mushroom gravy was so flavorful, with the perfect texture on the mushrooms. I would definitely order it again! The service was above and beyond- even though I placed a to-go order, a person working behind the bar offered me ice water while I waited. Pricing: my order of biscuits and gravy and a tea latte was $14; in the future I would plan to eat-in, as I think the atmosphere makes the pricing more worth it. But I will definitely be back!

Great coffee and food ! We were so hungry from travelling and this just hit the spot. I got the pollinator coffee (not too sweet!) and avocado toast. Vibes were great - I can see myself reading or sketching while drinking coffee here.

We love The Lobby! We homeschool, and find this a wonderful place to come in the morning with our books, crayons, and math games. My littlest and I like to come alone with his favorite stories, sit on the same couch each time, read, and drink our drinks. I enjoy meeting my friends for drinks in the evening. Honestly it’s the most well rounded coffee shop around… they make great kids steamers, lattes, and cocktails. I only wish there were some gluten free desserts 😊

The make your own sandwich was very tasty. Sad they didn't have the sweet potato muffin/biscuit for it, but it was still very good. The Blueberry mango smoothly was amazing. Overall pricing wasn't the cheapest for sure, but nice place to check out

In town for a for a meeting all week and looking for a good place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. I found this place by walking around downtown Lafayette stretching my legs. Good atmosphere, greeted by the staff as soon as I walked into the place. Ask if they could be of service for my order. I just wanted a good cup of coffee which I did get a good cup of coffee. I was able to sit to enjoy my coffee in a great atmosphere, very enjoyable place in downtown Lafayette to drink a coffee, read a book, enjoy friends.

I am coming back. It's an amazing place for coffee. The atmosphere is so modern and welcoming. The service was great too!

This is a wonderful, welcoming space for all. Every food and beverage item I’ve enjoyed has been delightful. My friends and I have all loved our experiences at The Lobby. My 2 year old enjoys the snickerdoodle donuts. Coffee is amazing as always, and The Leading Lady is my go-to drink for an evening out. I love this new addition to Downtown Lafayette.

Popped in Thursday right before closing. They made me the best Irish coffee I've ever had. The coffee blend here is so rich... It's like an espresso in turkey. Really incredible.
Great service as well. Can't wait to go back.

A simple, sophisticated cocktail menu and some great share plates offered in the evening made for the perfect date night. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming. Can’t wait to go earlier in the day to try their coffee items!

Stopped in on a whim and was blown away by the ambiance, service, and quality of food. Had a BYO breakfast sandwich and hot chai. Will definitely return. Reminds me of coffee houses in a larger city. Will definitely return.

Nice local spot. The 2 baristas/ staff members I’ve encountered are awesome- Shoutout to Sheridan & Ali! Good place to have a coffee date or to come get work done, nice music choices for the background.

Definitely a great place to stop by for a nice coffee or tea and to have a great donut in the morning. Good atmosphere to chat with someone in mornings and afternoons, but also a great charcuterie board that can be shared for a nice evening chat.

If you're looking for a classy, upscale, relaxing environment to slow down, sip delicious coffee with a friend or colleague, and maybe enjoy some delicious, well-crafted food, The Lobby is the place.

Set in a beautifully designed and laid out space, The Lobby has plenty of places to sit down and relax, connect, or meet. Whether a comfy nook or a up-and-ready table, or even the bar in the windows facing main street, you and your guest are welcome.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and engaged. They take the time to walk you through the menu, and the opportunities to peruse the selections on their mobile ordering service (very easy to use straight from your table).

I could go on about the food (eggs benny pictured here) but you'll have to taste it to experience it. But trust that there's something here for you.

This isn't a Starbucks, and it isn't trying to be. It's an experience, and one you'll want to partake in, again and again.

The Lobby by Greyhouse has a delightful combination of excellent quality coffee/beverages, delicious food, friendly service and a friendly space to enjoy it all in.

My husband and I have enjoyed their sandwiches, charcuterie plate, gelato, and a variety of coffee and coffee based drinks and all that we have tried has been delicious and served with a friendly smile.

We are truly blessed to have them among our many excellent downtown businesses!

Cannot say enough about The Lobby. It is beautiful, clean, and spacious with comfortable seating perfect for studying all day or enjoying a cocktail for date night. Also a very inclusive environment welcoming to all. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Sat at the bar for three hours waiting for my wife to be done with her conference and enjoyed the conversation and my drinks. Once my wife arrived we ordered some food and it was phenomenal. The attention to detail rivaled that of a cocktail lounge in New York, Chicago, or LA. Finally the coffee was rich but smooth. What an asset to Lafayette!!!

First time visit. Wonderful atmosphere. Staff so friendly and my latte tasted great. I will be hanging out here more often.

The order/payment could be done digitally saving you time to wait in lines. The whole vibe in a restaurant is really pleasant.

What a treasure in DT Lafayette!! Beautiful, casual atmosphere with excellent coffee and breakfast. While enjoying our fabulous breakfast, we watched the bartender make what appeared to be a perfect Old Fashioned (our personal fave) as well as a beautiful Espresso Martini. They are hitting all the bases with excellently executed offerings, delivered by ultra pleasant and knowledgeable staff in a brilliantly appointed and relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait for our next visit to Lafayette so we can stop back in! Well done Greyhouse!!!
