IU Health Arnett Hospital

My overall care at IU was amazing. However after having a complete knee replacement, I was sent home with no pain medication. I feel that was neglect on the nursing staff. My doctor had my medication sent to the pharmacy downstairs and the nurses were very much aware of this. No one let me know this until I called my surgeons office the following day after discharge and I was told that there should have been no reason I was sent home without medication because the order had been put in two days prior to discharge. Please nurses, do better in this area.

Fair. I do not think being put in a tent for ER SERVICE is appropriate!
Build more ER CLOSED DOOR ROOMS and charge appropriately!!!

All staff we interacted with were quite helpful, thorough in their work, and pleasant in their interactions with us. In particular Dr Aaron Villarreal spent extra time with our family to discuss our mothers condition, adjust her medications, and explore options for her treatment going forward. We were quite impressed with the quality of care she received at IU Arnett

My procedure and hospital stay went very well. Dr. Jeffrey Meyers is a kind and great Doctor. And the nurses Erin, Loren and Megan were phenomenal women. They helped me with my discomforts, discussed my medications to me, gave me breathing techniques to prevent lung issues and just were very caring people.

Every nurse helped me feel comfortable as they cared for all my medical and personal needs. I was always confident someone would respond quickly whenever I called for assistance

I had excellent service here when i was in and out of the hospital for a while. They treated me really well and i could tell the staff genuinely cared for me. They did everything they could despite being understaffed sometimes

The emergency department staff was amazing and very patient and helpful. Im grateful for everything they did to help the situation.

Nurses in oncology outpatient surgery, especially Nicole & Chris were fantastic!! Made a situation that sucks sooo much bearable. Hat's off to everyone that helped me with my IV port surgery. Don't know how they can deal with cancer patients every day and maintain their composure and smile? Glad they do. Thanks again Ladies. Danny

They did a great job saving my son's life in an emergency c-section and post op care for my wife. They had a verry friendly staff, knowledgable and kind!

Surgery went really smoothly.. had a great experience with Dr Swearengen, Endocrine Surgeon and RN Ashley, RN at 6th floor among other RN’s.. they were all amazing.

Excellent care and attentive nursing staff made my recovery much easier.

I've been in and out of many hospitals over the last ten years. The doctors and nurses here at Arnett have unbelievable speed efficiency and exceptional care, and such great bedside manner, I'd like to take them all back home to west Texas!

Excellent Hospital, Emergency Receiving Staff were Excellent, Professional and Pleasant. Cafeteria Staff needs to improve their manners on how they take orders from Hospital Patients Thankfully the unprofessional attitude of this Cafeteria staff did not reflect the rest of this Hospital Staff during my Stay! Very Clean Rooms and Environment!

I had an excellent experience with the birth of my baby at IU. Would definitely go back to IU if I were to have another child. Very thankful for all the support!

My husband was a patient for 6 days. The doctors, nursing staff and other support staff were all excellent. Names of the nurses I can remember are Silas, Rileigh, Anthony, Angie, Jackie and Hannah. I’m sure I’m forgetting someone but all of them were exceptionally professional and nice. Thank you to all for taking good care of Harley Whitaker.

I came in from another hospital out of town with severe pain that was coming from my gallbladder. They got me on the surgery lists and it was worse than they figured it would be. I had multiple different interactions with surgeons, RNS, and more over the 4 days in was there. Every person I spoke with was kind and helpful in my recovery.

I want to personally thank Dr. Ali and ALL of the many other doctors, nurses, and other staff members that saved my life.
I had a massive heart attack in July and if it were not for their actions and continued efforts to revive me, I would not be here with my wife and kids today.
I also want to thank the sitters that sat with me while recovering.
It was emotionally and physically tough and just talking with them got me through a lot.
Dr Ali kept telling me I would get home to my family and that it was his goal as much as mine which was very inspiring to me personally.
I am doing very well and recovering more each day.

Had a recent overnight stay at IU Health and could not be more grateful for the amazing people who took care of me. They took such good care of me that I almost didn't want to go home. The bonus was that the food was really pretty good. I would highly recommend IU Health.

I had spinal surgery May 10. Doctor Jackson was wonderful and all the staff. My nurse on the 3rd floor. Was great too. I wish I remembered her name but was so sleepy when I was there. I enjoyed my lunch before I went home too. I would love to be at IuArnett if I ever needed them again. The billing department was great . I had all my bills in less than a few weeks unlike some places where it takes 3 to 6 months! Ty Iu Arnett
