We've got a serious crush on the Fowler House Mansion when it comes to throwing epic weddings! We've been all over central Indiana, doing wedding florals. The Fowler House Mansion is one venue that's etched in our memory for all the right reasons!

This place? It's not your average wedding spot; it's a total standout and one of our top picks! It's got that timeless, vintage flair that instantly adds a boatload of charm to any event. And let me tell you, turning it into a floral wonderland is an absolute blast!

Stepping onto this property is like stepping into a time machine set to the roaring '20s - it's downright awesome! The natural light here is like a gift from the photography gods, making every picture look like pure magic. With its endless gorgeous views and backdrops, it's basically a photographer's playground!

Every time we score the chance to jazz up this beautiful historic venue with our floral creations, we're over the moon. The Fowler House Mansion is one of our happy places, and we can't get enough of its fabulous vibes!

It's a gorgeous location with friendly service and delicious food. My burger was delicious, I would recommend choosing fries as your side rather than the chips. The scones they set out for us were yummy and a nice touch. The food was a good price for a full service restaurant, though the cheesecake, while amazing, was a bit overpriced. I hope to come here again and try something new!

EDIT: I just returned and had the Moses Melt and a side of Broccoli Cheddar soup. Both were delicious! Don't forget to explore the home some.

I meant to post this sooner, but here it is. My daughter’s wedding was held at Fowler House in June 2021. We couldn’t have picked a better venue for this! Fair price, great food and service, and the staff was so accommodating. This mansion was the county museum when I was a child, and it was incredible to see it present-day and share this place for our special day. Highly recommend!!

The menu offers plenty of variety, but also isn't so large as to be puzzling.

We asked for ingredient adjustments and the staff and kitchen went above and beyond to help us feel safe and comfortable.

The cheese plate exceeded our expectations, my husband's steak was done perfectly, and my salad with salmon made me glow with joy. The wait staff were kind and attentive, and the kitchen staff cooked us beautiful and delicious food.

Whether you are going to share a small plate (or two!), have a full dinner, or just looking for a place to relax and have a drink, we recommend the beautiful atmosphere and delicious food at Fowler House.

We absolutely LOVED The Fowler House Mansion. The ambience is amazing. You can walk around and tour the mansion. So cool! Our server, Mia, was fantastic! She knows the menu very well and makes excellent recommendations. Everything we ate was super delicious. An appetizer of bacon wrapped brisket bites, I got Roast On Toast, my hubs got the Pot Pie, and our dessert was free because we were celebrating our anniversary. We chose the Pistachio Almond Cake, thanks to Mia's suggestion. Everything we ordered was delectable. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant for a special occasion or just because. Prices aren't bad either. We can't wait to go back.

FANTASTIC Wedding Venue!! Gorgeous building inside & out, the property is stunning and the lighting is perfection. So many opportunities for pictures for guests and wedding party. Food was delicious and so were the drinks!

My wife and I had our wedding here and the venue and service were phenomenal. Though we were on a budget, they worked with us to deliver the most delicious dinner to all our guests. The mansion itself is also so beautiful that you barely need any decorations to make it feel special. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

I took my mom here for a belated Mother's Day dinner, and our experience was amazing! I believe that the names of the two employees who took care of us were Emma and Carrie, and they were both absolutely delightful. The house is gorgeous and we were allowed to go upstairs and outside to see all the beautiful historic rooms. The food was also delicious; we ordered the charcuterie board, the fontina pasta (one with chicken and the other with asparagus), and the chocolate peanut butter bombe. I definitely want to come again for the next special occasion and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice night out.

What this place needs is some marketing. No one knows it even exists. It's decent food, nothing crazy good, but decent. Would be good atmosphere but it was empty when we went, literally we were the only 3 people there for half our meal. Friendly wait staff, and seeing the house is cool. The new bar area looks pretty nice.

Decided we wanted what we dubbed a "Fancy Lunch". The Fowler House did not disappoint. The whole visit was an experience. Both inside and out are beautiful and spectacularly kept. The lunch menu is not massive but has several good selections for all types of appetites. I had Fish and Chips with the Cheesecake for dessert, my sister had The Grilled Cheese and White Chicken Chili with the Chocolate Mousse for dessert. We were so glad we decided to treat ourselves. Service was great. Our server was friendly and happy. Everyone we encountered who worked there seemed to genuinely enjoy being there.

The mansion is so nice! The architecture makes for a great wedding venue and a perfect place for new coming photographers in Indiana. Highly recommended.

This is a must stop. Every person is so helpful and knowledgeable . The food is delicious! The bacon wrapped brisket is definitely one of the better foods I've tried in my life if that tells you anything! Prices aren't bad and food is delicious. We'll definitely be back!

I don’t know where to begin. We wanted a small, intimate wedding of only close friends and family. We had no real vision of what we wanted our wedding to look like. We wanted simple and that works perfectly with the Fowler House— it’s so beautiful it doesn’t need to be dressed up. Jacqueline was with me from day one. She replied to emails within great time frame and met with us many times before the wedding. She gave us so many ideas for our big day. Seriously, she did everything. Her mom and fiancé all work together and they are just an amazing crew. I am so happy that I met these wonderful people. Including the staff. They went above and beyond for all the guest. They were so polite, professional and down to earth.

In the photo of us with Jacqueline, she ran out in the rain to ask if she could go ahead and feed our guest. (We were kind of behind on our schedule) She seriously goes above and beyond.

The Fowler House is a perfect venue for a wedding .
They do everything for you. They set up, tear down, cater and coordinate. Oh, and booze! The details in the property is perfect for how simple or how detailed you want your wedding.

It rained on our wedding day and honestly, I am so happy it did. It made the ceremony even for intimate with the beautiful windows in the background.

The bridal suite was so full of light. It made it perfect for getting ready photos. You have the entire venue to use and Jacqueline will make a beautiful floor plan for you! She seriously thinks of everything and will answer every single question you have.

Please don’t over look this beautiful venue full of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. I seriously love them. They made my day so perfect. They will for sure take care of you!

I enjoyed one of the best cups of coffee I've had in a while, a delicious cheese burger, and fantastic cheese cake. The burger came with house made pub chips that were quite delicious. My wife had an available dinner option. Her chicken pot pie came with an incredible flakey crust along with a side salad and a fruit cup (not just cantelope and grapes but fresh berries. Her desert option was Chocolate Marquise. Our server, Gavin was very attentive and was quite able to inform us on any menu questions we had.
Part of the charm was the background music and the option to walk around the house to see the history of the building.

The menu didn't look like much, but I was pleasantly surprised. My pork chop was tender and juicy, and the mashed potatoes were shockingly good. I know, I know - mashed potatoes, how good can they be? You won't know until you try these. (The green beans with bacon were just OK.)

My wife got one of their salads with salmon and it was an impressive, tasty slab of fish. They certainly didn't skimp on the berries in the salad either.

We read the history of the Fowler family while we waited for our meal; it starts out fairly plain, but becomes a thrilling kidnapping drama from early in the previous century. It's wild stuff.

Our waitress was excellent and we were able to walk around the mansion after we ate. It was a treat to explore.

It's a bit spendy, but I wouldn't call it overpriced. It's just right for a lovely date night.

This is a really cool house and a great place for lunch or dinner. They are setting up a speak easy, look for it. Tell them “C Dub sent me”.

Was there for Lafayette Art League Holiday Tea. The place was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The people were super friendly and kind.

This was a beautiful venue. The effort and detail to restore the old home is amazing. It was a very beautiful wedding with some amazing friends.

Went for the West Lafayette Restaurant week and the food was delicious! The portions were big and the cocktails were yummy. I love that the upper level of the mansion is open to the public for exploring. Overall a beautiful historic landmark that has been well preserved and serves up a great meal.

I can't believe I just found out this place was being run as a restaurant. Only found out when I heard it was closing. I've driven by this property for 15 years and have always loved it. The size, the stature, the architecture...all amazing. So we decided to stop in for dinner last Saturday. Made reservations but didn't need them. Had a great table by the windows up front. Server said we could wander around and you know we did. What an amazing home. Just don't build like this anymore. We enjoyed our time so much. We'll be coming back a few more times before you close, and it's such a shame that you are. Places like this should be treasured by their communities, and I can't believe there isn't more support from the government and the people to keep it afloat. Anyway, BEAUTIFUL home, delicious food, great prices, and super friendly staff. What's not to love? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
