Hope's Café

This Bakery is like walking into your Grandmother's kitchen. Inviting atmosphere, friendly staff always ready with a warm greeting and smile but most importantly the food is AMAZING. Best bakery in town. I love the gluten free options. They taste just as good as any regular item. Love this place. You will never regret ordering one of their brownies. In Autumn they had a pumpkin cinnamon roll.....to die for.

This is what I love about the US. Everywhere I go, I can find places like Hope’s Cafe—quiet, clean, welcoming, friendly people, great vibe, and good music. Visit them whenever you need to read, chat, or work in Gresham!

My wife and I had our lunch date here and couldn't have been happier. Our food was delicious, fresh, and well made. Our drinks and desserts were perfect, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

This is becoming an absolute favorite fast. I received my birthday cake here earlier this month, and for a nice bite and conversation this bakery is absolutely delightful. The service here is amazing. I've had the pleasure of being served by the same woman, sadly do not know her name yet, and she is just above and beyond.

Absolutely Delicious. I tried the Cinnamon in the flavors of Classic Cream Cheese and Hazelnut, both scrumptious. Also had the Black Forest pie at the recommendation of the staff and what a delight. The lemon cheese cake pie was a perfect tartness, not too sweet with a classic pie crust. The strawberry white chocolate cheese cake also very good and a perfect single serving size. They have cupcakes and cookies as well. They have some gluten free options too. A must try.

I saw a sign on the way home saying they were still
Open. Bing told me they close at 5 so I rushed over at 4:45 and very terribly parked in front to run in and get my sweets. The banana bread has this cinnamon sugar top that added an additional element of texture and makes me want to drink hot cocoa and watch Christmas movies. The peanut butter brownie is to die for, and the monster cookie is an amazing option that’s GF. The interior is super cute and I can’t wait to come back because these sweets won’t last for long 🥰 (the cashier and owner were also super sweet, I’m only sorry I didn’t get their names)!! I definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely a must visit local cafe with gluten free as well as non-gluten free deliciousness. They have a variety of drinks and pastries/baked goods and also include a lot of savory meal options.

The gluten free biscuits and gravy are an instant close-you're-eyes and bask in the magic, experience. Seriously, I dare you to find a gluten free biscuit as fluffy and lovely as the ones at Hope's.

Hope and her staff are so incredibly friendly as well, and are so open and easy to chat with. You instantly recognize the hard work that has been put into each and every recipe that is being sold. To quote Hope, she "won't sell anything to someone that she wouldn't deeply appreciate herself."

Please visit this gem of a cafe, it will be worth your while.

Cute little cafe with delicious homemade food and wonderful bakery items. Best cinnamon roll I've ever eaten.

It's nice being able to let my guard down knowing that everything is safe to eat and made by someone who is aware of cross contamination. I have missed good cookies and anything lemon. I haven't tried all of the goodies I got, but the peanut butter cookies and lemon squares are fabulous! Even those who I'm with that are not gluten free said they are delicious. The banana bread was pretty sweet but still good. I will definitely be back!

I can’t believe I haven’t left a review for this amazing bakery! I placed an order with them for a golf themed birthday cake for my boyfriend’s bday last year. The communication was super easy and the cake came exactly how I imagined! Everyone was super happy with the cake!! Would come back for sure. I bought the toy golf cart and the 18 flag from Amazon, but everything else on the cake was made by the amazing baker from Hope!

I went here to get some cupcakes for my wives birthday. The people were really nice and the cupcakes were awesome. The prices were good as well. You should definitely go grab some baked goods from this shop.

I recently discovered this spot after learning about them from a post from the local community Facebook page. My fiance and I are gluten-free and knew we had to try them out! Hope's isn't a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, but the owner is gluten-free herself and takes precautions to help prevent cross-contamination. We ordered her "hot mess" meal with GF biscuits & gravy, a GF cinnamon roll, and a GF jalapeno cheddar wiener wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS, and my fiance said "Hope is a wizard!" Hope and her employee were incredibly friendly and personable, and even the customers were too. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to coming back again and again!

Delicious cupcakes! I special ordered custom cupcakes that were vegan friendly and gluten free for an employee appreciation treat, and they were amazing. Totally could not tell they were not “regular” cakes. The price was very fair, and turn around time was very quick. Would definitely order from this shop again, employees were also very friendly.

It was so great visit Hope's Cafe (formally Hope's Bakeshop). My husband and I enjoyed bacon, cheddar, egg breakfast sandwiches on Hope's heavenly biscuits. They are HUGE. It was a lot of food for an affordable price. We also got some sweets to go and the peanut butter gluten free cookie I had was de-licious.
