Joe's Pancake House

Googled a place close with French toast and Joe's popped up! Thought I'll give it a try while in town. I got French toast and biscuits and gravy and I promise you it's seriously the best breakfast I've ever had since my grandmother's or father's. The owner made AMAZING food and my waitress was AWESOME! I will be driving the 45minutes to bring my family to this resteraunt! I cannot imagine how good the rest of the food is!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!!!

Don't let the exterior fool you - this is probably the best breakfast place in town. They have a pretty extensive menu, the people are nice, and they serve up breakfast all day. The coffee is weak, but you can make up for it with unlimited refills. The menu is interesting and a bit more varied than your typically café. They even have some low-carb and healthy options.

The food is also really cheap here, so you can grab more than one meal if you're starving.

Pleasantly surprised at this little cafe. Great prices. Food is really good. Portions are decent. Service is quick and accommodating. Has daily specials. Staff very friendly! Will visit again!!

Melissa is always very friendly and checks on us frequently and we always have a warm up of coffee without chasing someone down. We highly recommend Joe's as we go here with my mother every Monday. Thanks guys

Best service we’ve had in a very long time! This place is a well-oiled machine. Staff worked their tails off on a VERY busy Sunday morning of Purdue’s family weekend. Will definitely return.

I never submit reviews - this is a first for me. Was so impressed with this family owned restaurant just wanted to let everyone know. Service is excellent and genuinely friendly. The food is well prepared came to the table hot. Even the syrup on the table was warmed!! Just here today for the Purdue graduation ceremony, but anytime we are near here we will be back. Wish there were more places like this!

The atmosphere was wonderful! The staff was very friendly. Our server was amazing; she did not let our coffe go empty and offered some to go. The place including restroom was clean. The food all came out hot and delicious! Our picky friends recommended this diner. Absolutely glad we tried this place.

I have never been to Joe's pancake House when it was so busy. But this particular day that we went it was insane. My food was cold. And that has never happened before.

Had a usual breakfast, bacon eggs and toast. But this time it included potatoes. All portions are very generous and the flavors are fantastic! I highly recommend Joe's so you can become a regular and enjoy everything on the menu. They also have a case with cakes and other delectable delights that only the non-diabetics should consider.

Nice, laid-back little family-style restaurant. Food wasn't fancy but tasted good, was made fresh, and quite reasonably priced for the portions.

Waitstaff was attentive, polite, and friendly.

I'm from out of town but if I come through again and need a bite, this will be on the list.

It can be hard when traveling to find predictable foods without to chain restaurants or fast food places, but breakfast is frequently a safe bet and this one didn't disappoint. Add in knowing that I supported a local business versus corporate mega-entity? I got a full stomach for way less than I'd have paid at a chain place and was able to leave a nice tip.

I went to this restaurant once while it was on 52 and I was sad to see it gone but drove past it on Earl, so so happy to see it had just moved. The food is always amazing and the best waitresses~! The desserts look so good, might stop by just for dessert. It's always good portions and prices~!

Ate there today and couldn’t be more impressed! Friendly staff, great food & a very clean restaurant. The restrooms are cleaner than any I’ve ever seen in a diner! There are stoppers in front of the doors that you have the choice to remove if you feel you need the privacy, and they were extremely clean. You can tell much attention is brought to that part of the restaurant. If they are paying that much attention to the front of the house, the kitchen has to be immaculate!! What really impressed me was the server staff! Those girls all worked together as a team in order to give prompt and courteous service to every table. Never seen a waitstaff work so well together. The food was great and we will definitely return!! Loved it!

Absolutely fantastic food! The owner/cook are extremely nice people. I ordered quite a big order, and it all came out to me in prompt time, and very well seasoned, and hot! with my order, i ordered a single pancake. It arrived, and i thought it was a fine size. The owner felt it was too small, and not only made me a new pancake, but gave it to me free of charge, without taking the other one back. Its the little details that really make local small businesses sing.

Both waitresses were very friendly and prompt. the restaurant was very clean, and they were VERY attentive about refills. I cannot recommend this place enough! if you want great breakfast food at a very cheap price, with BIG portions, please make sure you stop by Joe's pancake house (also known as Joe's family restaurant!)

Food was great, staff was friendly. We aren't from this area but if we ever come back, we will come back and visit for sure. Great breakfast.

Food is really good, a little pricey though. Service can be great, or terrible depending on who you get and the day they are having. Fairly clean.

This place has a variety of items on the menu. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The prices are moderate and the portions are Large. The wait staff is attentive and helpful with describing items on the menu. Great mom and pop place to eat.

Had breakfast. Locally owned, diner style restaurant. Portions were huge, prices low. Got a ton of food for the $. Side of hash browns was more than enough to split, breakfast meats generous amounts. Chocolate chip pancakes were enormous. French toast was 2 pcs, halved, fresh and delicious. Let's talk about the service for a Saturday morning rush... It was excellent. We were seated quickly, it was packed, looked like they only had 2 wait staff, needed 3. Still, Melissa was super friendly and service was unbelievably fast. The wait for our food had to be less than 10 minutes. We will definitely be back.
