When my husband and I went to apply for our first passports, I prepared myself for the worst based on the other reviews here. However, the woman at the passport counter was great! She was quick, kind, and helpful. She looked over everything very carefully and explained the process to us. Our pictures even turned out decent!

Dennis and the nice lady working with him did a fantastic job helping me ship my 4 parcels priority mail. Thanks so much for your knowledge, your time, your reliability and your hard work. The downtown USPS is great, too! Thank YOU.

Stopped by today to drop off Christmas letters. Although the line was very long and took awhile, the clerk, Dennis, was super nice and friendly. There was an issue with my letters (too heavy) so he helped me fix the issue.
I can't imagine the pressure these clerks deal with around this time of year, but I truly appreciate how nice he was and how positive his attitude was. Thnak you.

I've always had a great experience with the USPS in Lafayette. The folks both downtown and on 26 are friendly. You will run into lines, but that is just the way life is. Our carrier does a great job with all of our packages, parcels and mail. I'm appreciate of their hard work!

Ok, they get a bad rap, this office is usually pretty quick about getting you in and out, and their usually friendly. The clerks don't control the prices, so there is no need to complain.

I came to activate a P.O. box I reserved online. Got here at rush hour (apparently missing a paper, too) and was still in and out in less than 10 minutes. Noelle was super friendly and helpful and walked me through everything.

I've been here many times. Once for work I had to mail at least two hundred certified letters. The guy couldn't believe his luck, but he stamped every one of them. Yes there's a line... usually around peak times so use common sense if you don't have the patience. It's not the only branch in town.

I wasn’t home to sign for a package so I went to the post office to pick it up. I guess because of guidelines and the carrier not being back, they said I couldn’t pick it up until tomorrow. I didn’t have until tomorrow so thats where Joe comes in. He went out of his way to get my package after closing and got it to me the same day. Thanks Joe!

I went yesterday to mail a letter, and get a change of address form. The wonderful mail clerk, Iutita, was very courteous, professional, knew right where the forms were (you have to get them from a clerk), and oh so friendly. It was just a quick trip, but Iutita helped turn an okay day into a better one. Thanks, Iutita!

I go to this USPS location weekly, if not daily. The people working there are friendly, knowledgeable, and know exactly what they're doing. They get me in and out and are personable at the same time.

Service here was far more competent, helpful, and friendly here than any other USPS locations nearby.

They were the only place that would/able to cash the money order that we had.

Accidentally mailed letter without postage. They dug thru the drop box to help me find it and purchase postage.

Made a couple of trips..and always a positive experience. Very nice peoples and great service.
