Some people need to realize that the majority of our population have traditional standards and views. The only ones spreading hate is the ones that are trying to hurt this locally and family owned business. Don't take it so personal if not everyone agrees with your alternative lifestyle.

This is the first line on their website. ANY occasion, unless it's a same sex wedding cake.

I can't attest to the taste of their cakes, but the hatred is too potent for my liking. I would never give Sweet Cakes a penny of my money, and I'm pretty sure most of the country agrees. You don't have to agree with anyone's lifestyle (just as so many don't agree with your extremist lifestyle), but doesn't your religion preach being kind to everyone? All these ladies wanted was a cake, not your wife!

If you have a heart, don't buy from Sweet Cakes, you'll only be fueling hatred against decent people.

I am looking for a wedding cake for my daughter's wedding of almost 300 people so I thought I might check this place out. After hearing their beliefs, I can assure you I will never go to this bakery nor will I recommend it to anyone. I have a gay brother in law who has been in a committed loving relationship for almost 20 years. To think that they would not be able to get a cake for their wedding makes me sick. These people are bigoted religious fanatics and I hope their business suffers greatly for it. They use their so called Christianity to hide behind their bigotry. Let me think - didn't I hear somone once say let thee without sin cast the first stone? Oh yeah, that was Jesus - so come on Sweet Cakes - get with the program you claim to be a part of - Jesus and Christianity and be grateful for ALL the customers you get - though now, I doubt you will have many except for the same bigoted narrow minded people who are lining up to show their support for hatred.

I would NEVER patronize a business because they advertise religion and wouldn't shop at any place where ape-like bigotry is practiced. To be an 'abomination agaist the Lord' you must first establish that 'The Lord' exists, and you can't because there is no shred of proof!

Ignorant and self righteous pricks breed hate. I am so disgusted and appalled by these cake makers. Everyone has a right to their opinion but it should not be at the expense of someone else's lifestyle and happiness. In my opinion it is a blatant hate crime.

I can't recommend this company due to their recent publicity - that was verified, mind you - by them refusing to sell a cake to a same sex couple. I hope the family behind the man who said those words has financial backup, because they are going to be shunned for years.

Horrible!!! Cakes are Wal-Mart grade and they serve Hate Cakes with racist frosting and narrow-minded filling... Just stay away from this place...

They are only interested in serving those that belong to their own religion. If this is not you stay away.

It seems I will never know the quality of this bakery as I will not frequent this establishment based on their refusal to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding.
