J&R Collision Center

So someone turning out of a parking space turned into and creased my bumper pretty good. Of course, they didn't stick around to tell me.
Anyway, I was looking for a collision center to fix it. I was looking at the obvious big box chains, and I said to myself, look for a local place with a good customer service rating and try them out. That's how I came across J&R. They aren't even a mile from my place.
From the warm sure greeting I received from Barb when I came through the door to super cool Eric, who knows his stuff, I knew this would be a great experience. They communicated with me throughout the whole process of what I needed and how everything was going. Most importantly, they had my vehicle back soon as promised. My vehicle looks great! There was no sign of the mild trauma she experienced😂
In closing, folks, please support our local businesses, they need us as much as we need them. Eric and Barb, along with their team, did excellent work! I highly recommend them. Everyone there who I spoke to was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable on their career. Barb was extremely helpful and patient. And Eric, I believe was his name, was also very kind and informative. They held high standards for the new parts they ordered, and kept me updated throughout the process. They also cleaned the interior before pickup. It was spotless and smelled like a brand new car. I would highly suggest Jake’s Collision to anyone in need of repairs. I had a very frustrating summer where I needed body work done on two separate occasions. Thankfully I happened upon J&R for my first batch of body work and they were so excellent I came back my second time around. Barb and Eric are both very skilled and honest in their work. I highly recommend J&R for any kind of body work needs!

J&R was a wonder to work with. As stressful as auto repair can be, they made it as stress-free as possible. Barb did a fantastic job helping find affordable parts for my car and communicated very well throughout the process, giving me multiple options to choose from. They did quick work on my car and made it look amazing. To top it all off, they even cleaned my car!

Had the best experience at J&R Saint Louis earlier this month. My car had scratches on the driver's door from an accident and when I went to another body shop for an estimate, they told me that it was gonna cost more than 3k. However when I went in, Barb (amazing lady here, so nice and kind) took a very careful look and WIPED 90% OF THE SCRATCH MARKS OUT and insisted that i needed not pay her at all, while giving me a lot of useful advices on how to deal with something like this. Made my day and I can't say how thankful i am.

If you are looking for an awesome body work AND amazing customer service, this is the place to go! My Kia was stolen & banged up a few weeks ago. when it was found I called around at least 8-10 places -- all of them were fully booked for a month, or told me that they didn't take my insurance (Geico). When I called J&R, they were so friendly and sympathetic to my situation. They were very transparent about the whole process, emailed me with updates, and even really took the time out to explain the insurance process (this was my first time filing a claim, and I had a million questions!). When I got my car back, it looked amazing! Highly highly recommend!

Once again…great service. Although the circumstances sucked…Jakes J&R collision turned a horrible situation into a carefree experience. The staff was wonderful. I would reccomend this place to anyone! Unfortunately my car was parked in the parking lot at work and someone hit my parked car. Her insurance company got their estimate and sent me a check for the repair.
Jack's Collision was so helpful in my situation. They ordered my mirror quickly and it arrived in a couple days. The following day I took my car in and the replacement took less than 30 mins. Love the experience. I am so happy with my new mirror! Thanks Jake's Collision.

This is the place to go if you want proper, friendly body work at a fair price. Barb & Eric are incredibly nice people who explain your options carefully. I never feel taken advantage of here, my car appreciates looking her best, & i know that I can trust them completely.

(they happen to be across the street from the best tire place in the city, Bargain Tire, who actually recommended Jake's to me in the first place when I asked for "a trustworthy body shop that won't screw me around". They were right!)

I had heard horror stories about body shops so I was getting a little worried taking my new truck to one.

The service was great. I was given a very fair estimation of the work that needed to be done and the timeframe in mind. Barb had explained everything quite nicely and kept me in the loop during the process.

The results were great. My truck still looks brand new. The paint color was matched perfectly. If I, friends, or family need body work again, I’ll make sure to use J&R.

Eric and Barb are absolute gems and we are fortunate to have them in our city. I felt they were in my corner, and like they truly cared about me. Not having my car is really stressful as I am a working parent, but I never had to worry or have anxiety that I wasn't receiving fair and honest service that was a job well done. They never got annoyed when I called for updates and were patient with me. Eric explained what was going on, above and beyond what I ever would have expected. He also had the knowledge and expertise to know that the insurance company wasn't being true or correct about the value of my vehicle, and made sure that we didn't get totaled, granting my husband and I peace of mind that big insurance wasn't going to cause devastating financial hardship to our family. I also want to mention that I was shocked to hear that the team will put in hours on weekends and holidays. This is above and beyond in my opinion. I am blown away.

When my husband and I pulled up to pick up my vehicle, I didn't recognize it because it was so beautiful. I said "is that my car!?"

I got out and walked around my car and cried happy tears - yes, seriously. It's been an emotional couple of months.

In a post pandemic world where parts take forever to come in, everything is inflated, and everyone is on edge, I am just so grateful to have been so well taken care of. Eric has a customer for life, however I hope that I never *need* to see him again!

Just picked up my car this morning, and my car looks great! Barb was very upfront about what was needed to repair my car from the very beginning. When their quote came in significantly less and with a faster estimated turnaround time than some of the other shops, she walked me through the differences. I wanted to use Jake's from the very beginning and that sealed the deal! Repair was done on time and matched the estimate!

I have taken my Cars multiple times to Jake's Auto body (Unfortunately). But every time its the same Amazing service. From the start with Barb who took care of all the paper work and amazing customer service. To Eric who does an amazing Paint job and every one else there. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this body shop to any one in the Saint Louis area that needs body work done to their car.

The best around in town, handsdown! I had to replace the rear bumper on my Mazda3 from a small accident. Barb/Eric are the best people to work with. Everything was done very smoothly. The new bumper looks soooooo goooooood now.. Highly recommend :)

My car was the victim of a hit-and-run that left the left-side tail light destroyed. Jake's was able to get me in quickly to take a look and quote the cost of repairs. When they found out that I was paying out of pocket due to a lack of collision insurance, they really made me feel like they did everything they could to get the price on the replacement parts as low as possible. All in all, it ended up costing a lot less than what I'd feared. While I hope I don't have a reason to be back here anytime soon, if I do, I'd use Jake's with zero hesitation.

They are the absolute best. I've taken several cars there for body/paint repair and they are top notch. Service is excellent and they keep me informed on the status of the work. I can't recommend them enough!

Just an amazing place! Honest, dependable, quality work. Barb is the nicest receptionist in the world and Jake is outgoing, skilled, and thoughtful. Jake answered all my questions with confidence and saved lots of money and time. They do great work a Jake's! I am so glad and thankful to have such an awesome auto body shop so close to home.
