African Galleria

A very nice galleria with souvenirs, crafts, artwork, stoneware, clothing etc. Everything you might want to buy is available. Large items can shipped to your home. The famous Tanzanite jewelry is also available but a bit pricey. Bargaining recommend if buying it. Other items are reasonably priced. Clean restrooms and even a restaurant is available.

It was the best detour we had on our trip, the artpecies were unbelievable. African art made and showcased the African Galleria is amazing.

Beautiful facility. Great staff, more things than you can ever afford to buy. Wonderful resturant.

The art work of all kind is just amazing. Don't go pass this place, it is a must stop.

What a great place. Phenomenal restaurant.

African galleria is a good place for buying gems,jewelry,art. Its good to visit there many of arts like carving,pottery,traditional clothes,gems,jewelry,paintings etc. Also restrooms are available.
Its also a place children can enjoy different types of makonde carvings ,jewelry eg Tanzanite,ruby,gold etc.
Also restaurant are available food,drinks etc.
Also there is parking area for any type vehicle.
Also the prices are to high for the gems i mean Tanzanite is extremely high in price and it is mined in Tanzania so we didn't buy anything.

It is a good gift shop, with very good things, many of my friends came to Tanzania from different countries they bought a lots of things in African Galleria, and they have become good ambassadors for others, good customer care... 👏👏

So much amazing art and sculptures! We stopped here on our way to the Serengeti. Tons of African art to admire. You can see some tanzanite gemstones here and there are tons of souvenirs to purchase as well.

Tourist stop with a huge variety of gifts and nick nacks. Our tour group stopped there and had lunch. Ended up getting some tanzanite and some other gifts.nice selection of art.

This place just won our hearts ❤ They deal with antiques, art, Tanzanite and other gems, clothing, Maasai art, custom made jewelry, carvings and so much more. Everything was so fascinating that we were truly tempted to buy! Must visit if you are in Arusha.

It's a beautifully curated gallery that gives a good experience while learning the history of the Tanzanite mining.

Beautiful place🥰 This place is more about the museum (look at arts) than gallery (but art; prices are really high). I can't say it's must seen place in Tanzania, Anyway if you are gonna to Karatu, visit it on your way to, not gonna regret.

Great place and great service by the owner. We accidentally forgot one of the items we got and Punit, the owner, ensured it was shipped to us at free of cost to US. It is a must stop for quality decor and art. Clean restroom, beautiful galleria and great restaurant to take a break. Service was great in the restaurant.

A good private gallery for all kinds of African articles including crafts, ornaments household items are available. I purchased a lady bag. Well behaved staff

Fabulous place for art and wood carvings ranging from a few dollars to $160,000 for a carving that took 10 years to complete! And every price range in between! The prices are stickered but everything is negotiable. We purchased 2 large busts and feel like we got a good deal!

Really great selection of local arts and crafts. They take cash and card. Remember to do a bit of haggling to get the price down, which is expected. Please note that we were only able to haggle when paying with cash, not with card.
