Secluded spot for a nice resort. Has a beautiful pool that overlooks the area.

Has a beautiful orchard with fruit trees. Landscape has lavender bushes and rosemary bushes too!

By far the beat hotel we stayed in during our Safari in Zanzibar. Excellent rooms, great staff and super food.
Only wish we had stayed some extra days to enjoy the tranquillity and the gardens

We had the most amazing experience in this resort. It was beautiful inside and outside. The rooms were amazing, along with the bathroom and closets, desks and even a fireplace that you could have lit up on request.
The buffet food he had for dinner and breakfast was out of this world.
They also had good stuff at their gift store, where the prices were pretty decent. Overall, we had a wonderful experience in this resort.

Outstanding from the beginning of my stay until the end ! The staff was truly amazing. Every single person I encountered was so kind and friendly. The whole retreat is simply perfection. The rooms and the grounds are breathtaking. The food was amazing. I can not recommend this place enough. Everything you could possibly need is here on the grounds and in the rooms…

We only stayed here one night while on our way to Serengeti but we will surely come back for more time. I cannot write enough about how amazing the rooms were. The showers and amenities are all to die for. The food and services were amazing. The view from the top is breathtaking.

Stunning resort with amazing scenery. Friendly staffs, good food, accommodation and rooms with fireplace. They've even got a beautiful garden with different kind of fruits and vegetables..

This is the place to stay. Don’t stay anywhere else. Awesome property. Incredible staff. And just a great experience. The hotel has an awesome lounge for pre-dinner drinks. The lounge even has games — pool table , checkers, karom board — for the kids to keep them occupied. And even a gym! Can’t beat this hotel. I would recommend staying for 2 nights at least. A lot of folks spend just a day for the crater visit and then get another hotel closer to Lake Manraya before they tour that park. Don’t do that — worth a short bit of back and forth so you can enjoy this hotel more

Visited during March 2023. Very good lodge to stay. rooms are superb and service is outstanding. The owner gave us a talk about her vision, how they built the place and integrated it with the surrounding locals. Great swimming pool. many trees, coffee plantations, flowers and birds. Air condition in the rooms could be useful. Liked the architecture and decoration. Nice fireplace to sit and chat at night. Highly recommended.

Beautiful resort with the friendliest staff - everyone was so nice! Sarah made us feel especially at home. Every meal was absolutely incredible as well. Rooms were clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Couldn’t recommend enough!

We were on our safari tour and spent 1 night at this beautiful resort. The rooms were spacious and beautiful decorated. Food was delicious. Friendly staff. Would recommend this place to others. I would also love to come back again.

Wow, that was a luxury stay! We were on our Safari trip and stayed in Retreat only one night but I wish it could be longer. This place is a true paradise! Surrounded by the jungle, so much green everywhere, there is a pool, jogging trail, garden with amazing flowers, fruits, herbs and veggies. Such a peaceful place, almost felt unreal. The food was amazing, we also tried the local red wine - so good! The service is really on the top level, trying to make your stay comfortable. The "rooms" are actually small villas with a huge bedroom, spacious bathroom, a terrace outside.
We definitely recommend this place while travelling across north Tanzania!

Lovely place with a beautiful energy. The food was excellent and the staff was very professional.
The rooms are very classy offering a nice and cozy feeling. We had safari and guided walks organized by the retreat (5 star ones). On our last day we had some unexpected logistical problems and the staff was very helpful.

Beautiful property and wonderful rooms. My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon safari trip. What made our stay perfect though was the excellent staff. They go above and beyond to make everything perfect and our very professional. If you get the opportunity to stay I highly recommend it. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Awesome place! The view is amazing. Its very scenic. Has extra commodities like a children play area and crib that i really loved because I traveled with my 1 year old. The service was great too, every one was super friendly. Would definitely recommend this getaway!

Convenient location. Courteous staff. Helpful. Running, hot water. Could not ask for more in a Conservation area.

This place is a paradise. Everything was just perfect but I think especially worth mentioning is the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff. Very stylish and tasteful design and interiors, extremely comfortable and clean, not much more to add to be honest. I wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely want to come back one day.
