Farm of Dreams Lodge

Beautifully well maintained gated hotel compound. Rooms are individual large huts with big bedrooms, bathrooms and outdoor sitting spaces. Great pool and early evening entertainment by outside bar. Friendly staff. Spent two nights here as layover stops from my visits to Serengeti.

Great service and super nice staff! The food was very good. The rooms were simple (no hair dryer, tv, ac etc) but had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean and comfortable.

I work in 5 star hotel in London, so I know a good service from a bad service . I came with a group of people in safari group, when I arrived the welcome is nothing like you seen before . I won't say it you have to experience .nice towels and drink at the reception .rooms were amazing and clean .breakfast also have to say please try the banana bread .also mention Peter . Zawadi , severla Martin Lázaro amazing service .

This place was a tremendous surprise! We didn't book it directly but was part of a Safari tour so didn't do much research beforehand. The place was amazing, staff equally so from the front desk to the room attendants to the dining staff. Rooms were excellently designed and had everything we needed. No A/C but a fan did the trick for the night we were there. Shower and bathroom were great. Food was delicious with much variety, breakfast, omlette bar anyone? Dinner was a buffet and all the dishes were delicious from the Waldorf salad to the Banana cake and everything in between. The place was a gem.

We spent 2 nights here and it surprised us with really unique and beautiful lodging. Interesting evening entertainment, clean pool and rooms, great food, and wonderful staff. Highly recommend

This place was quite nice, the wifi wasnt the fastest but it was servicable. the resort itself looked really amazing and dinner was good although somewhat spicy. I did get a stomach bug from the food however so take that for what you will.

Spent 2 nights here as part of a 5 day African Safari. Really unique and beautiful lodging. Clean rooms, amazing food, and wonderful staff. Would highly recommend.

I was here for only 1 night with my wife. But we will come back as soon as possible. The room are immersed in a beautiful atmosphere, and are very very large and clean. The design is typical of that zone. At the restaurant is possible to eat delicious food (we had a dinner and a breakfast, all buffet, with many different dishes)... The personnel? No word for their. They are superb (also the entertainment personnel).

Amazing decore. Very modern and comfortable rooms but the place has a traditional African hut asthetic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful singing on welcome. The food was good and the presentation was 5 star. The only thing that I would say there was no WiFi in individual lodges only in the communal areas. And although the rooms were airy and cool there was no AC here which I didn't mind as the weather was nice anyway but perhaps it would have bothered me if it was during the hot summer period. Then again it is a lodge in the middle of the jungle so not sure if you can find AC anywhere. Overall we were very impressed with everything.

I had an absolutely amazing time at this lodge.
The people I met including Michael, Ishmael, and Robert treated us like we were family.
I believe those three individuals were some of the greatest I met during my stay in Africa. Hats off to the staff in charge of employing these three men

If you are reading this review, that means that you are considering FoD. Don't consider anymore... just do it. You will not regret it. The bungalows are airy and clean. The landscaping beautiful and meticulous. The food was delicious. The staff is amazing and attentive. I may be partial because if I ever move to Tanzania the owner will be my new bestfriend. Please support this beautiful locally owned property. Of a 2 week trip that I adored my one day stay here was a highlight!

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful well manicured grounds. Great staff. Food is hit or miss but there was always a tasty option for an American palate. Easy access to the crater. Felt very secure.

Fabulous location with unbelievable views. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was really good. The beds and accommodation in general were top class. We were sorry we only had one night here. Highly recommended!!

Really great staff that greets you with a song when you return from safari, a nice pool, and live entertainment makes this a perfect option if you're in the area. The rooms are very spacious and private with all the modern amenities.

We had a great stay at the farm of dreams lodge - thanks to the wonderful people!! They even welcomed us with a tansanian song, were really attentive all the time, took care of us very well, taught us some swahili words and they were always smiling :). The bungalows were very nice as well and the food was delicious! We are very happy to have stayed there and met all these lovely people! Asante sana, marafiki!!

We had 3 extremely nice nights at the Farm of dreams while our Safari. The staff team is very nice and kind & smiling all the time. Ismael is a great Swahili teacher ( if you are interested) and the best cocktails you can get from Craig at the pool bar.
I would warmly recommend the place!

BEST EXPERIENCE

We arrived after our first day on safari. We were greeted by fresh juice and a beautiful welcome song by the staff. It was so touching and brought tears to my eyes. We were shown the dinner menu and they were able to accommodate our vegan diet. In fact, they went above and beyond to meet our needs. Our room was so cute, comfortable & clean and we were provided turn down service. The staff was so friendly and charming. I was so sad to leave the next morning. Imagine my surprise when I found out we were going back to stay there again after our 3rd day on safari. I was so excited! We will always remember Gordy, Hope, Jubilation, Constancia, Peter & the rest of the staff. They really made us feel special. I highly recommend staying here!
