Wow.. We (3 couples) had a great and the best experience. Indeed it exceeded our expectations and it a real value for money.
Very friendly personnel... Elizabeth.. Miriam, Martha and everyone that made our stay memorable thank you so much.

The biggest asset of this hotel are the people working there. Starting with the nice welcome at the arrival at the reception, the smiling people taking care of the whole hotel and last but not least the most caring people in the hotel restaurant we ever experienced. Nice beach in front of the hotel where you can relax. Masai and local people looking for some dollars were expected on the beach but if you will learn few words in Swahili you can experience a nice adventure going fishing with locals, visit the school or families or you can just ignore all those people and they will let you be :) up to you. What truly set this resort apart was the outstanding service, notably from the manager, Victor. His professionalism and attentiveness added a personalized touch to our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, offering valuable recommendations and addressing any concerns promptly.

The resort itself boasted well-maintained facilities, and the beachfront was amazingly beautiful.

I absolutely loved the experience at Kiwengwa Beach Resort. The resort is beautiful, the staff is friendly, the food was good, the pizza was the best & the Pina Colada is a must try. They had entertainment every evening, which was so much fun but so relaxing at the same time. And if you want to relax & just lay in the sun on the beach, the resort was 20 steps away from the beach. I loved being so close to the ocean.

The location's beauty was matched only by the stunning decor and the hotel's dedication to customer service. The arrangements were seamless, the rooms were of high quality, and the overall service was commendable.

A special mention goes to the General Manager, Mr. Ayed, whose accommodating nature and dedication to ensuring our comfort helped alleviate much of the usual wedding stress. Angela, the guest relations manager, proved to be an angel indeed, anticipating our needs and fulfilling them efficiently and graciously. She is a true asset to the team.

Mr. Zabron's attentive supervision of the entire event ensured that everything was executed to our satisfaction. He and his excellent team deserve a hearty applause for their impressive skills.

The culinary delights, customized and expertly prepared by the Chef, Mr. Godfrey, and his team were a gastronomical adventure. The quality, freshness, and presentation of the food left us and our guests highly impressed and the live, on-beach, right-in-front-of-the-room BBQ prepared by one of the kitchen sous-chefs was so spectacular!

Our heartfelt thanks go out to them and everyone else at Kiwengwa Beach Resort, whose names we do not know. Each one of you holds a special place in our hearts and contributed to making our wedding an unforgettable experience.

We spent a beautiful holiday here. We loved the authenticity of the place, the atmosphere, the service. Special thanks belong to the Food & Beverages Manager - Nestory Ezekiel. His communicativeness, friendly approach and professional service on daily basis made the experience wonderful. Our youngest son celebrated his birthday there, so we had asked for a cake. We loved how it was presented! The manager and other staff brought it while dancing and singing a lively African song. It is unforgettable. They did not ask for extra money for the cake and the show, but of course some extra money was well deserved and appreciated.

The resort is well-kept, clean and serviced. The rooms are big and air-conditioned but a little humid because of the climate. We were afraid of the low tide but in the end we didn't mind at all. It was just a few tens of metres. The sea was better with high tide though as there was just white sand beneath you and no seaweed.

Great time with family. It as an amazing resort, very well suited for family. Friendly staff from all the departments from front desk, housekeeping, pool and beach attendants as we all 3 restaurants staff within the resort.

Service was amazing especially restaurant staff were friendly and helpful 😀 😊.

Your experience here will be an unforgettable one. We stayed here approximately four nights, we experienced the resort like no better place we ever visited.

The staff are outstanding, they smile and welcome you all the time, they know how to make you happy and welcomed. Special thanks to Said & Stella in the reception, and Zabron, Mousa and Said in the restaurant. They made our stay a wonderful one and unforgettable.

The food was good, and they change the cuisines everyday, so you don't end up eating the same thing.

The resort main areas are very well maintained, and they take good care of all the amenities. Our room was not outstanding, it was a little old and the mattress was a little bit uncomfortable, but for the price we paid, we can't complain.

The noise is high sometimes, because these rooms has no insulation on the doors or windows, and you feel the humidity in room all the time. Obviously it's a tropical place and we understand the heat and humidity is common.

Thanks for the outstanding experience here, I definitely recommend this resort without any hesitation.

Nearly perfect for families!!

We absolutely loved this place!
We came with 3 kids - 5 year old twins and a 9 year old. We originally booked the hotel for 4 nights and then booked another one, but after staying there we came right back and even extended our stay more than planned.

This resort is great for small kids, 3 pools with nice areas of shallow water, right on the beach, the hotel is beautiful and well maintained, has a great kids club that will babysit the kids. Kids loved staying there and we used it to keep them busy when we went to get spa treatments at great prices. The place also has parrots and tortoises and turtles.

The food was fantastic! many choices for kids and adults.
Great service and great staff. Everyone smiling and helpful.
I loved the music at the main pool, there is definitely a happy vacation vibe in this place.

The shows in the evenings were really impressive acrobats and dancers performing (Michael Jackson show was my favourite).

The only things I didn't like about this place was that the bed sheets were really worn out and itchy.
I used a blacket to cover the sheet and slept on it.

Another issue is not having enough towel cards for all the guests.
They gave us 3 cards for 5 people at out first stay and had non to give the second stay, just gave towels which we had to carry back and forth to the room and back when we wanted to change them. It really bothered us.

It's only been a day and I've gathered such great memories from this place. The area around the resort is rural but once you're in, it's amazing! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is a bit further from the tourist attractions. However the beach is lovely, the sands are white and the tide is low.

An amazing place, made amazing by the 3 pools, the cleanliness of the rooms, all the green vegetation around the place, the great beach and what made our trip here truly wonderful was the people, the always smiling and kind people. Thanks a lot to Stela and Nestory, amazing managers, who made our stay great and resolved all our problems that have arisen. Thank you! Will definetely return here!

Amazing place, recommend it 10/10. The staff is very helpful, polite, attentive, focused on details. You will not want to go from the resort at all basically has everything. Good for families, groups, couples, individuals. My best regards!

We spent 8 wonderful days at this resort in a very clean, Family room which was rather a full house with everything you can imagine, including 2 bathrooms, AC, 2 separated rooms and a big balcony. Everything was very clean. The food is was amazing. The people’s mentality at Kiwengwa was always kind and helpful. The beach was ok (apart from annoying Massai trying to sell you Chinese products). That’s a thing the hotel needs to fix. If I relax at the beach I don’t won’t to get asked permanently in 10 languages if I want to buy aloe Vera or cashews. It’s not a negativ point for the resort overall, rather a remark what somehow needs to be fixed in the future…. More security guys!
The hotel has a own clinic. Big plus if you get injured! Prices are fair!
The only negative thing I have to point out: Guys, I am paying so much money and you don’t want to give me free WiFi? 15 Dollars for 7 days of WiFi doesn’t feel fair, if a customer already bought the all in Clusive Package. Maybe charge 15 dollars for 7 days for people who don’t have all inclusive….
Otherwise there is nothing negative to say! Amazing people, Amazing Hotel and amazing holidays!

Amazing show at the hotel, Masai show

We were in Kiwengwa beach resort in the end of November. It is REALLY great place to start to discover Zanzibar! There are many good points of that place but the BEST is the stuff! My husband was sick the firsts two days and so many people helped us!! I have a list of people whom I want to tell thank you! Hope that they will read it one day :)
