My main local lunch/dinner place in Paje. Good prices and quality. Both for locals and tourists. Also a good place where to meet people.

My favourite cheap eats are zanzibar soup uroju (3000 tzs) and pilau (2500 tzs). You can ask to add beans and vegetables to your pilau. Also, i would reccomend chicken masala, half-chicken, etc.

The best food for very low price in Paje! You definietly have to try it. Local Zanzibar soup with vegetables is really tasty. You can eat very cheap and good food there. Sometimes they don't have one dish or juice, but it's okay.

Incredible value for money. We paid 11,500 tzh for 3 Oroju masks and one Ugali. This restaurant is simple but tasty. Don't be put off by the look. The service was friendly too. The place looks a bit different to older reviews photos so perhaps it's under new management. Will be back to try the other few things on the simple menu.

One of the best experiences I’ve had at a local restaurant. Most African restaurants are on African time (they like to call it Swahili time here), so while there is a wait, it’s always less than expected for a typical local restaurant.

The best homemade food in Paje! Don’t be put off by the looks of the place, it has great food for unbelievable prices. The best chapati I’ve had in any Zanzibar or even Kenyan restaurants. Simple healthy food oh and you have to try the Urojo soup best soup I’ve had in my entire life!

Buen restaurante, fuimos dos veces. Relación calidad precio buenísimo. Platos sabrosos (tuna y pulpo). El primer día la atención fue bastante lenta, pero el segundo día todo perfecto. Recomendado 100%.
