The campground was my base for hiking Snow Mountain. It's really a good place to start hiking that and also the Wuling Quadruple. The price is might a bit high in comparison to other campgrounds, but it's within a national park.
I booked the little house, which was for me alone quite enough. But I would not recommend more than 2 people inside. Especially as there's no space to put your stuff, inside is only a thin mattress all over the floor.

The old KMT soldiers did a great job developing the area and planting trees. Many impressive fruit trees and color changing foliage. There are restaurants and I believe 2 hotels.

Becareful of the aggressive monkeys that aren't afraid to grab food from u.

There's also acknowledgment of Taiwan's only native species of salmon.

Very good camping area, especially the fixed camp in Area B. It is very convenient for people who don't have camping experience. Although it is a long way away, it is very worthwhile. I think this is one of the most beautiful places in Taiwan. !

nice environment but the washroom and bathroom facilities are poor. also.many monkeys there. they have been feed by viaitors. they always try to steal food items from you and also attack small children's and even adults. over 30 monkeys all the time

Very nice campsite in good condition. Platforms for tents, electricity at each site, very clean bathrooms. Beautiful surroundings.
