The ride here from Taipei was long and serpentine (thus motion sickness meds are recommended) but well worth it. We were fortunate to have come this autumn season to see the bright red and orange maples at the visitors center area and the golden ginkos near the entrance and peach orchard. The cedar smell of the Japanese pinewood lane was strong and absolutely amazing.

11/20/2022 finally, am so thrilled getting to visit this farm. I've been to Taiwan several times but never get to come here because it is really far. It took me 4 hours from Taipei city & having arrived here, it was very worthwhile. I know peeps have been coming for its cherry blossom season but I always love to take the road less traveled by, choosing to visit during autumn. Excited to see some maple leaves and the weather was so good to stroll around.

Affordable accommodation and beautiful countryside. We didn’t go in Cherry blossom season and so avoided the crowds. The accommodation was simple and clean, breakfast and dinner was included (a simple Chinese buffet for each). The rooms were in a cabin with folding mattresses, clean sheets and duvets. Note that you’re at over 2000 m so bring slightly warmer clothes. There us no AC but a heater was provided. We paid 6k for a four person room breakfast and dinner. You’ll need a car/scooter as the distances between buildings and to the places is quite far. This is a great place for hiking and enjoying country views.

Amazing and great place to relaxed. You can camping and bbq here. Make sure you wearing good shoes because you will have some longmarch.

The farm is very beautiful. It is located in high mountain, and has a feeling of cut off from the outside world. The scenes are very picturesque. It is enjoyable just walking around, appreciating the different kinds of flora and the scenes. This is so far one of my favourite places in Taiwan for a short vacation.

For anyone interested in high mountain farm life and insight in local rural life. Wailing Farm is one of the most prominent farms, offers a spectacular scenery of the surrounding mountains with nice walks to scenic spots like the Taoshan Waterfall. Why year round you will be delighted by blossoming fruit orchards or the abundance of harvest.

A farm won't stop giving you surprised at all seasons! You can also see the precious animals of Taiwan like monkeys, Formosan Reeves, etc. It also has several hiking trails of great mountains like Mt. Shiluvia, Mt. Boba taragayun, etc. Overall, it was a great place for you to immerse yourself in the beauty of Taiwan nature.

Wuling Farm has four distinct seasons and twelve months different flower blossom. You can spend couple days getaway here either hiking, camping or sipping the high mountain tea. It's a year round retreat spot except the cherry blossom crowd during early spring.

One of best vacation place in Taiwan. Forest, creeks, rare species of salmon, frost or snowing, comfortable temperature, cool air, stars, blossoms, fruits, calm.

We went every one or two years since 1990 till 2010. Haven’t been there for years since media widely report the hype. Recent years this place gets terribly crowded especially when blossoms. More than decade, because of protecting reasons, you are not allowed to get close to creek banks and see salmon flock.

Plum and Sakura are in January, fruits especially peach and pear are in August. Plan your trip there, go camping or lodging, hiking to creek source, drinking cool creek water, discover and enjoy nice time we had.

Best place to watch the cherry blossom

The best time go visit Wuling Farm is in the cherry blossom season in spring, when the whole park will be cover is the beautiful pink of the cherry flowers. Wuling farm also has a camping side for people who love camping and enjoy themselves with nature longer. If you want to drive into Wuling farm, you will need to register your car plate number and also confirm with the hotel accommodation before arrive. If you come buy bus, you can by the NTD730 round trip Taipei to Wuling Farm ticket at Taipei City Hall Bus Station, which includes entrance fee and round trip bus fare from Taipei.

Wuling Farm is truly a remarkable place. The natural beauty is abundant and the views are incredible. I highly recommend a visit here and would love to return in the future.

We went on early January. The cherry blossom wasn't fully out yet, but if you know how crazy and how difficult to get here when it's the peak season, then you would think it's better to come early.

Very good place for downshifting living. The weather is not hot, not cool, and so nice to human beings.
