Kunyang Parking

Taiwan’s equivalent of the 007 Goldfinger Furka Pass in Switzerland, just this one is higher. It is reached by a consistent climb along alternating two lane and single lane (!) road with precipitous drops on one or occasionally, both sides. Stunning views on the road and from the car park. The scenery depends on cloud cover, but can be stupendous. There is a 15-30 minute scramble up to a minor peak (3220m) from the car park. Sunset views can be jaw dropping

The drive up here is really windy and mostly one-laned, so be careful when driving here and honk to alert other drivers. Parking is not free here as well, but the views are well worth it. Do note that it gets really cold here (its >3000m elevation) even in spring. Visited here in late April but the temp was 10 degrees.

It was covered with snow and beautiful white mist. ❄ Check the weather and enjoy the snow 🌨. Going above this place required chains in tyres. Luckily there are people who sell and help fit snow chains ⛓

Stunning star gazing. Luck enough to See a shooting star within minutes of parking. Very cold and windy so be prepared.

到了果然不得了 完全沒有遮擋 今天的雲剛剛好 滿滿的雲 今天的農民曆上一定寫 宜去情境農場 這個地方完全不輸世界任何地方的美景 臺灣的月亮非常圓

隔天看完日出也有過來 說真的 還是這邊的夕陽厲害👍
