Taiwan's national park. It is a very beautiful place. By visiting the texture of marble cliffs at various points. which has different walking routes which if anyone has come to visit Taiwan. I recommend that you come and visit here as well. I'm very impressed. Recommend renting a taxi to visit, it will be more convenient. This is because the buses in the park are quite limited. It may make traveling seem rushed and unhappy.

For a mountain sight enjoyer, this place is a must-go. I live in Kaohsiung and regret not going here sooner. All the sights took my breath away.

This is a must place to visit! Hiking at the very clear paths is safe but in hot weather bring your own water with you. There is a small kiosks at the way where you can buy water, lemonade ice coffee etc.. It's very humid....

The Taraoka National Park visitor center was outstanding. The center's design beautifully complemented the park's natural beauty. It's a great destination for anyone looking to connect with nature here in Taiwan! 🇹🇼

Really cool place with interactive maps of the park. There's a cafe run by aboriginal community, serving local bento boxes which are delicious. The place itself is beautiful and not crowded even on a public holiday. You can buy snacks here too

Excellent spot to set off on your Taroko NP adventures. The staffs are super friendly and knowledgeable. There are maps and a small museum about the history of the park. Small Gifts shops next to restaurants. Plenty of parking and the Admission to this magnificent park is FREE!

Come here first before you explore the park to get updated information about road closures. Their website is pretty accurate but just in case, best to visit the center and seek the information booth right in front of the doors. Free brochures available in English and Chinese.

You will be updated on certain bridges that open and close at various times due to rock fall.

Restaurants serve decent food here. There are toilets to use. My favorite part was the museum downstairs that had informative and interactive segments about the aboriginal Taroko people. There is also a playpen for children called the Magic Castle.

Great place to recharge before you enter the national park. Make sure you have plenty of water before you go.

Outside is a park with a built in amphitheater where concerts are held once a year, late October.

Plenty of free parking available.

Beautiful park for fantastic hiking experience. A day is not enough for discover complete beauty of the place. Different length of the trails - from 30 minutes short walk till 8 hours demanding hike.
Facility in the restaurant clean, but food is a junk - I recommend to eat in the small restaurants in the village -
More authentic and tasty food

Good facilities, very helpful English speaking staff and several trails can start from here. Tourist bus 310 will stop here from Hualien train station and takes about 30mins.

Stopped by here in Nov 2016 for a restroom break and was so impressed with the facility! So clean, so new, even play areas for the kids! Restroom was so clean and even had toilet paper and hand wash! Felt like I was back in the U.S.! Very comfortable. A true rest stop.

Nature in its unadulterated beauty. It is very clean and tidy. I hope everyone realise that and keeps it as serene as they found it.

Beautiful gorge of marble. Seeing the river going through the gorge and carving all these walls is breathtaking.
There are a lot of trails for visitors to choose. Some are more for hiking and require to be in good shap, but others are more for sightseeing with beautiful waterfalls and cliffs. There is also a campher forest but path was closed due to recent typhoon.

Helpful assistance prior to attempting a hiking trail. They called a taxi for us, bus transportation is slow to the train station.
