Hehuanshan National Forest Recreation Area Boundary Marker - Kunyang

If you want to see the snow in the peak of Taiwan mountain, this area is good for you~

Going from Taichung station, you need to make sure what transportation will you use to come here. We are renting a car, and going here from 5 AM, and arriving around 10 AM because we need to stop for using the snow-chain, for the safety of the car-wheels. The police will notify you to use it if you don't have. We get the snow-chains from the local people for NT3000 because of this (we heard it should not be this high price). So if you already know the place to buy the chains, it is better to prepare it before going up~

It is around -4⁰C when we come here, so the snow is thick. So make sure you plan your clothing better~ There are so many people that making the snowball and putting it on their car. Even the road is covered by the snow. There is also a parking lot here, but since it is not enough, there are some people that going out to see the snow before they park it to the parking lot.

The restroom is not offering warm water, so you need to make sure that you bring your own hand-warmer and not to dirt your hand so much. The restroom is also a bit far from the parking lot.

Must visit when in Taiwan, cold weather so bring a jacket.

停車格空間很大格，數量還是有限，提供廁所，方便遊客使用，也是許多攝手駐足的地方。
一年四季都方便拍星空照，雲海也常有，可遠眺奇萊山主峰、南峰。

合歡山真是個令人心曠神怡的天然瑰寶。漫步在山徑間，清新的空氣中夾雜著松濤聲，彷彿能感受到大自然的悠閒韻律。山巒疊嶂，仿若置身仙境，讓人忘卻塵囂，放鬆身心。簡直是完美的舒適之旅。
