Sanxiantai

Sanxiantai is the best place when you visited Taiwan. It is located in East Of Taiwan for me it’s quite far because I live in Tainan but you won’t regret the beauty of nature. When you walk into the bridge because it’s connected to another small island the could embrace the fresh air you can see the ocean and the waves. I recommend you to visit there. You won’t regret it. If I could rate this place from 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest I would rate it 10/10. Its beautiful

Winds are really really strong here. There are 8 arches on the bridge that brings you across to the island. Love the view and the pebble beach! It was slightly crowded with a lot of tourist and visitors.

Oh please people! Make sure to cross the bridge and walk around the islet on the other side because it’s a lot more beautiful than what you see halfway the bridge. Bring water, wear a cap or bring an umbrella on a sunny day. In summer, I suggest not to go there between 10am-2pm as it is scorching hot. In winter, it can be really windy.

A nice little workout to scale the dragon bridge but the view is beautiful. Strangely the beach is made up of pebbles! When you arrive on the island on the other side, be aware it is very warm, even in winter but the landscape is worth the trek.

I was lucky enough to have a awesome sunny day when I visited 三仙台, the ocean was so blue and reflected the sunshine which made it look like diamonds glowing and floating on the surface of the sea.

The view is also great, you can totally spend some time sitting on the stone beach and watch the sea.

The bridge can busy, however the hiking trail to the lighthouse is well worth the extra effort. No crowds and beautiful views of coast and Pacific Ocean.

Be sure to carry lots of water with you. Think you have enough? Well, bring some more. Loved the bridge, but loved the walk to the little lighthouse even more. View from the lighthouse (and even higher if you ignore the chains) was amazing. The stairs were rough though, so really, bring more water.

Great place with very nice scenery. But it's tends to be crowded and noisy at the starting point. Most people stop half way or less and started walking back. The other island connected by the bridge had a very nice view. Worth to take a 15-20mins walk to the other island.

Including drop off, getting a snack, going on the full hike, and exploring off the path to take photos, the trip around Sanxiantai took just under two hours. It was incredibly windy, which made for some nice spray from the waves. There were quite a few great photo spots and the weather was perfect.

It doesn’t open the bridge now.
So we can’t get on the bridge.
Hope the maintenance could finish soon so the view could be enjoyed.

Very nice bridge and little island to visit. You can spend almost half day exploring this place. Wear good walking shoes.

One of the best view places in Taitung

Very pretty area with crystal clear waters underneath the bridge. Very little shade so take umbrella if you want shade. Some good spots for pictures/drone footage.

A fantastic place to visit!! The 8-arch bridge is superb. But if you want to climb up to the light house, do it as early as possible. As the evening sets, there would be chances of high tide, and you may get trapped.

Perfect day activity. There are some cool little tidal pools, and it's a fun little walk around the island and even a short climb up to the top for an excellent view! (see picture)

Lovely & uniquely designed bridge to visit. There is also a trail on the island that you can check out. Very windy. And make sure to go there before sunset.

This is a really unusual landmark. Very picturesque. The walk around the small island is nice. Everything is very nicely developed and it only costs 50 NTD per car to get in.

Very much worth a visit for cool scenery. I recommend walking to the end of the trail to see the lighthouse and go through the sea cave.

You can't believe how beautiful this place is!!!!
The cloud , the sea , the rock and the sky are just so gorgeous ! Definitely gonna visit again.
