Sixty Stone Mountain

The place is really beautiful. The flowers season is around second week of September to end of September. From Yuli train station a bus generally goes to the mountain. If you have scooter it's really helpful to travel.

We took the train to Fuli Station and managed to easily find a few others to share a cab with. It worked out to 350 NT per person for a round trip. The views are truly awesome and the flowers were in bloom when we visited which added so much more to the beauty of this place.

Good views with carpark at top and small food store

Absolutely beautiful when in season (I went up October 4th, and it was still worth it!). The food is okay, you could skip it. Be careful of the little bugs on the flowers (if you have some peppermint essential oil...put that on your legs and arms before going out in the valley). For a taxi from Fuli station, it’s about 1400, so best if you can find other people to go with you. I had lovely tour guide, she only speaks Chinese so we used google translate! see picture attached for her contact info! Final opinion, worth the $$ to go up! Breathtaking!!!

If you wish to join the daylily season and catch the magnificent view, July to September are the month that fix the season. Shuttle bus are provided tru Hualien gov and will announced tru their website. To check detail you may refer to "Hualien Tourist Service" website with english version, or search tru google with chinese input "六十石山金針花季" and view for d latest info.
Road to the top of hill are narrow and rugged, you may also drive up there but sure quite hustle as everyone are chasing there. But overall worth it, you can get magnificent astonishing view up there.

Amazing scenery and flowers... The drive up and down the mountain is a bit dangerous with all the passing cars, but definitely worth it. Go during the summer months to see the day lilies.

We took a scooter up the back road - very beautiful. The top is stunning, and scenic. Even off season, it is worth a stop - everything is very green! You can spend hours there just gazing down the valley.

It's a beautiful place up on the mountain.
Bring a jumper if you're visiting by evening cuz the temperature dorps down a bit. Check the weather before going up, otherwise make sure to be there before the sunset, or you'll get some misty photos.

It takes some effort to get to the top (not that much), but its really beautiful.
The road is kinda dangerous because its really steep and the turns are kinda sharp, so be careful

Aaahhh what a wonderful place to spend time together with our loved one. It's just like Paradise Valley. A stress-free overlooking the view🥰🤩

Incredible view. Really recommend it. Tip: many people bring tripods for their cameras. Prepare yourself for a long waiting time in your car under the sun, to access the top parking. Or go by foot but it's long.

The view from the top is marvelous. People said it is best to visit in Summer to see the flower bloom. we went there in autumn to avoid high temp still we can see the flower and it is not too hot. Btw, this area is also called Taiwan' Switzerland

Must come and beautiful mountain with splendid views.

Just that is not easy to match the short flowering period.

Nonetheless, still beautiful and worth to visit.

And, no crowd during this time.

People are friendly too and willing to chat with you and share with you.

The most beautiful place in East Rift Valley in Hualien. Best time (or Correct time) to visit: the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weeks of August, and the 1st, 2nd weeks of September. The only way to avoid the crowds: get here before 7 am! Do not hesitate to hike to the pavilions at the tops of the hills. The views up there are worthy of all the efforts and time.

Amazing scenic view, truly a must-see if you're in the area. We were very fortunate, as we arrived there just as the flowers started to bloom.

Summer is the time to see blooming orange daylily flowers.

Great place for a walk in the mountains with lots of walking trails around the tiger lilies. Also the right place to buy the delicious dried tiger lily flowers.
