Brown Boulevard

Mr. Brown Avenue is one of my favourite place in Taitung. When you come to the place, I highly recommend to rent a bike and riding along the paddy. The air is crispy here, riding a bike here is relaxing.

A must go when you’re in Taitung! Highly recommend getting the electric bicycle instead of manual as it’ll get tiring to go up the slope. The electric bike for 4 pax costs 800ntd and we spent 1.5hour exploring the place.

With so many photos and review, this place needs no introduction. The 1 hour car ride from Taitung is totally justified. If you can, come on a clear day and come early as this place get crowded! There are plenty of bicycle (both the traditional and motorized versions available) for rent.

This is excellent and views really nice! Good place to ride bicycle! You can rent one person bicycle or bicycle for two or four. You can even rent electric bicycles. Easy cycling for those who didn’t want to sweat and only want to enjoy scenery.

One of the most amazing places we've ever encountered! Beautiful views of the valley surrounded by the mountains. We rented an electric bike with a canopy on top because of the outside temperature being so hot. Wonderful excursion not to be missed!

Rent a motor family bike and had an enjoyable and relaxing ride there. Got lost a bit the people in the shops we pass by was very helpful and guided us back to the right track. The weather is nice with great view. Love this place a lot.

Beautiful rice fields to spend the afternoon. If you drive here you will need to park your car in one of the several parkings around Mr. Brown’s Avenue. The parking spaces belong to bike rental business so you can park the car for free if you rent a bike to visit the rice fields. There is a main road and then secondary routes you can visit. The main attractive is to bike a little and then walk into te rice fields away from the crowd. The views at sunset are specially beautiful and also a way to scape from the heat on sunny days.

I heard that it was beautiful. But I didn't know it was this breathtakingly gorgeous until I actually got there. This place truly slows you down and quiets your heart.

But remember to, from time to time, put down your phone and your camera, and just appreciate all this beauty with your eyes.

It's worth it.

Go early, 6.30am onwards to avoid the crowd so that u'll enjoy the place more. The place changes according to seasons. You can rent bicycle in the area to cycle or you can choose to walk. This place will probably take you afew hours to half a day.

You really need to come at the Correct times, which are the first 2 weeks in June, and the last 2 weeks in October. The only way to beat the crowds would be visiting the place in the super early morning when the place is still quiet.

A really fun place to spend a couple of hours biking around and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Some areas are crowded due to "famous" photo spots, but they're pretty easy to avoid and find your own spots to take photos. Definitely rent an electric bike, they're so fun to drive!

It’s a good place for insta photos and enjoying breezes while cycling and chitchatting with fellow friends! Sometime it’s crowded with Chinese tourists. Afraid not, just move to another spot. Everywhere is nice for photo taking. Not just the Takeshi tree. Visiting in March to Aug you will See whole lot of paddy field either in green or golden brown. While Oct to Jan will be flowers

Very beautiful place to just bike around and chill. Electric bike highly recommend so you can explore more around the rice farms.

Such a beautiful place! Surrounded by rice field and moutain! Although is very hot but its worth the tanned. It has some australia or america feel/vibe.

A must visit if you’re at Taidong💕💕 you can either walk around or ride a bike either way is convenient to do so. Very green and peaceful ☘🌿🥰
