Convenient quick stop for delicious buns. We had the meat, both vegetables (containing meat), and taro buns. All of them are delicious. Everyone’s favorite is the ones with preserved vegetable.

Ordered the peanut, cabbage and bamboo shoot buns. I like the bamboo shoot buns the most. They are generous with their filling.

I cannot get enough of these little fluffy pieces of heaven. The best buns I have had in Taiwan. Don’t miss the pork, sour vegetable and red bean ones.

Traditional Chinese bun shop with unique bread flavors like taro (芋頭包) and brown sugar (黑糖). We ordered the cabbage (高麗菜) and meat (肉包) buns, as well as the bitter melon and pork rib soup (苦瓜排骨湯). The counter next door sells soy milk, coffee and milk tea. There is also a dessert shop next door. Parking is streetside.

Good buns!
It's a take away place and some parking available. If you travel from east coast to north, should definitely give it a try.
I had pork bun, taro bun, cabbage bun, pickled mustard green (Chinese sauerkraut) bun all of them are delicious! I wish I has purchased the sesame bun, apparently it's good as well.

The steamed bun is delicious, i try the cabbage and meat.. price is okay, and they have toilets.. 🤣

As a foreigner I would say it is kind of a "hidden gem" on the way between Taitung and Hualien if you want to try traditional Taiwanese food and you are of course hungry. You can leave your car on the car side. There are many buns to choose from (it is better to have someone to translate), I personally had the sesame one and it was quite nice!

Famous bun shop good for vegetarians (English options in green)

Found on Google, looked popular, definitely lives up to the hype. The buns were absolutely delicious. Connected to the building is a little fruit stand, five stars for that old guy and his fruit too!!

Starving as we stopped for a pit stop as we heard toward Taidong! We ate all of them and loved each of the varieties!!! Perfect food for a car ride, surf snack, or even if your staying nearby a good night or breakfast food:) another fun food stop enjoy your trip.

Best steam buns we had in Taiwan! We found this place randomly along the way. It's very popular (and for good reason); it was the only place in the area that had a line of people on the outside of the building. Very cheap too, I wish we had ordered more to try more flavors.

Enjoying warm savory meat buns in the breeze is a pleasure:) its dough is not as sweet compared to Hualien’s Gong Zheng bun.

Amazing buns. they have sesame and peanut buns. The price is totally amazing around 20 to 25 for a bun. They have vegetarian and also meat options. Most popular is the pork bun and it was delicious. Lines can be long but the cashier is efficient and it never really takes long to get a bun. They also offer a English Menu.

Delicious Traditional Chinese Bun! A good plave to take a rest and eat some snack. Their signature dish is meat (pork) bun, highly recommended. Definitely worth the visit!

Delicious steam buns! We tried pork, bamboo shoots, cabbage, green onion and red been! They were all tasty. Only red bean was a bit dry, but still it's worth trying it! :)

Excellent and cheap Baozi if you’re in the area and need a snack for your road trip, seems to be famous amongst Taiwanese.

Tried four different buns. Meet, sour cabbage, bamboo, vegetable bun. All taste really good, the bun has the right texture and perfect proportion between bun skin and the stuffing.

Good stop for a quick and cheap bite. Very busy but line moves quickly. $25 for meat buns and $10 for mantou.
