We stayed there while exploring the coast and river tracing in some amazing, hidden canyons. Pete and his family are wonderful, warm, welcoming hosts and we ended up staying far longer than we had expected. I always opt for a tent when I have the chance, but the bed was so nice and Pete was such a great host, guide, and storyteller, that I ended up staying in his place the whole time. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!

My girlfriend and me spent one night at "Sleepy Buffalo's" end of October 2022. The owner Pete is a multitalent painter, musician, craftsman and some say he's the best Pizza-rista in the whole of Taiwan :-) ...and most important his wife and him are really nice people. He introduced us to his beloved Buffaloe "Snoopy" and his hoofed family. The place is really relaxed and the interior shows some nicely crafted woodwork and paintings. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We also had a chance to dine in "Uncle Pete's" Pizzeria in Taitung City and the rumors about the best Pizza-rista in the whole of Taiwan are correct ;-) We enjoyed our stay very much and will come back again.

Great b&b... lovely hosts and across one of the best beaches in Taiwan... take a 2 min walk and ur in the beach... the place is decorated in a very artistic way... rooms are spacious and clean... drop in if you need a budgetary place to stay in Dulan

The Sleepy Buffalo lodge has rooms for dorms. It's remarkably clean. The mattresses are very soft. The rooms are quiet. The bathrooms are very big. It's a child-friendly environment. be sure to meet Snoopy the water buffalo. He's extremely gentle very friendly well-trained. You may never in your life in a hundred lifetimes get a chance to be this up close and friendly with a water buffalo. This is a family-friendly environment There is a lot to learn here. So it's on the main road it is not noisy. It's a short drive to the beach , to Dulan, or to Dong Huh.

Wonderful family. Great Rooms in beautiful quiet longchang. Ocean to the front mountains to the back. What more could you want?

老闆夫妻很親切，男主人是外國人，裝潢設計有異國風情，簡單大方，感覺溫馨，讓人放鬆好好享受假期。

一踏入立刻給滿分～～目前住過台東最棒的民宿，超有人情味，服務、整潔也很棒，風格也很不錯，一樓還有桌遊，鋼琴，吉他，玩具等等，小孩或大人來都不怕無聊

-環境都是老闆自己設計的很讚
-二樓的臥房後面有個小陽台不過比較凌亂有放一些雜物～
-水量大、乾濕分離、有對外窗、房間乾淨

缺點
-隔音較差
-插頭較少
-棉被較薄尚可，冬天應該需要開暖氣不然會冷

民宿是老闆自己設計裝潢，非常棒且舒服，老闆和老闆娘都非常親切服務很好～未來到台東一定要再住

民宿環境很舒適乾淨；床鋪也很好睡～陽台外就可以看到海。老闆娘人很親切。附近有很多知名的小店可以到處走走晃晃。玩冰箱店家走路2分鐘，要記得提前預約早上就可以吃到豐盛的早餐

有特色的藝術家風格..雖然沒有見到忙碌的老闆..但大廳擺放畫作及小物可以看出用心...,因臨近馬路會有點吵..有睡眠障礙的朋友要留意哦

住宿地點就在台9線上，很好找。民宿週邊都可以很快找到停車位。民宿主人是美國人，民宿裡滿滿都是樂器跟藝術創作，很多裝潢都他們自己做的，非常令人驚豔！
民宿主人真的有一頭小水牛！很可愛，很親近人~
下次一定還是會住這裡！
雖然民宿沒有附早餐，但是附近就有早餐店。也可往北到東河或往南到都蘭，這兩個地方都有很多飲食選擇 。車程約7~8分鐘。
房間沒有冰箱，但是東西可以冰在一樓公用冰箱，也很方便。

Superbe expérience ! Les propriétaires vous accueillent avec le coeur, les chambres sont grandes, tres propres et super bien décorées. Si vous passez dans le coin, n'hésitez surtout pas !
