Such a gorgeous walk - highly highly recommend! You’re walking high in the gorge with gorgeous views of the river and the surroundings. You also walk through a little tunnel. There’s also a forest you walk through, so listen out for all the birds and wildlife. Enjoy it!

Fantastic walk, takes approximately 30-40 minutes one way with stops for photos etc. I got off the bus at Lushui and got back on at Heliu Campground. There is a short tunnel but a torch isn’t really necessary. Highly recommend adding this walk (and extending it to Yuefei Pavilion & Cimu Bridge, for an extra 30mins) to your Taroko Gorge trip.

This trail builds along the cliff upon the road, journey takes about an hour to two, pass thru several tunnel, and you may switch on your phone's torch light.
Overall It is an easy trail.

The time we were there, it was only my friend and I. It was fun wandering around and got into and out of a small cave-like spot. The view was beautiful - trees and rocks by the side! Enjoyed this trail!

Easy trail with well marked signs. Nice walk with some Forest, shade, cliff, and 20m short tunnel. Entrance and exit points are right by the bus stops. Very convenient with rest stop and toilets on both ends of the trail.

~2km trail that takes you through the forest. I don't think it loops around. We had a driver so he picked us up at the end of the trail where there was another parking lot.

Simple but beautiful trail. 20/30 minutes maximum.

If you are a good hiker you can go on with the harder one: Lushui to Wenshan trail (3 hours if you are average hiker).

The trail is next to the main road, so expect some road noise, the trail is fairly easy and quick.

An easy trail to see the river and cliffs in peace. Has a short dark tunnel too which is interesting. Uneven surfaces.

Perfect route for hiking. Only taking less than 1 hour, you can enjoy Phytoncide in the woods and walking on the cliff to overview the canyon and river. Very awesome!

Built on the cliff side by the Japanese, part of Hehuan Cross-mountain Trail, this trail is short, but offers the most accessible opportunity to witness the history and grandeur of nature.
