Beautiful trail where you can walk through tunnels, suspension bridges, edge of cliffs overlooking the gorge and deep canyons into the river culminating in a rain curtain cave, passing by the most impressive and magnificent waterfall on the way.

The 2km hike is on flat terrain, which took us roughly 1 hr going in and another hour coming out, including stopping to enjoy the views and taking photos. Very doable even for the elderly with good walking capabilities.

Some tunnels are wet and mostly dark, so use your handphone light or bring a small torchlight. If you plan to walk in the final rain curtain cave, you will be drenched so bring a raincoat with you. There are toilets and wash area at the end of the trail.

Easy 2.1km one-way walk. My 3 year old boy managed to self walk in and out without any assistance. Bring raincoat to enter the last part to see the final part of the trail. We borrowed free helmets near the entrance of the national park.

Level 1 to 2 hiking. Easy walk with tunnels, bridges and waterfalls for a return of 6km & 87m altitude gain. Bring your rain coat for the water curtain.

A trail with scenery that caught our surprise. We thought it's just a short trail that can be finished in 5 mins, but turns out it took ~1 hour to finish (round trip). You will pass by a lot of cliffs, caves and tunnels, even can see some bats. Only advice is not to wear white shoes as it will get dirty in the humid tunnels.

Unfortunately, the main part of this trail is closed. So there is the tunnel at the beginning and a few hundred meters more.

This is definitely one of the best holes in Taiwan with unique waterfall inside a long cave. Never experienced anything like this before. I always make time to visit this special trail every time I'm in Taiwan. This is a real gem and it should definitely be well taken care of. I look forward to coming back again very soon. 10/10...

A trail that is accessible by walking from 天祥 7-11 or service area. Takes around 10-12 minutes of walking along the highway, which you have to keep as close to the wall as possible due to passing traffic.
Would advise to park at 天祥 and walk over (around 700m to 900m) as there is only a space for parking of two to three cars along the highway.
The entire trail is 2.1km long with beautiful scenic views!! There is a waterfall at the end and a tunnel with running water whereby you can enter.
Would advise to bring along slippers and raincoats and a waterproof packaging for your phone! Very beautiful trail, Must visit!!!

Great hike with a lot of variety (tunnels, suspension bridge, waterfalls). Took us about 1.5 hours. We ended up not doing the water curtain. Would recommend rain coat/ water shoes if you’re interested in that.

This trail is well worth the hike. It’s about 40 minutes each way, but you end up seeing some truly one of a kind spots. Between the rock falls, pitch black tunnels, and the waterfall cave at the end, I recommend bringing at least a poncho. We got helmets from the free helmet station as well.

A nice well maintained path that ends in a walk through a dark waterfall cave with a river running through it. This is a relaxing walk rather than a hike and features some spectacular scenery. I’d you’re planning to go through the cave/tunnel at the end then you might want to bring a raincoat and flashlight (a phone isn’t really bright enough). The last part is quite good fun and exciting for kids.

Such a beautiful place. The whole walk takes about 1 hour 30mins to the end of the cave!! There’s free poncho available. But I recommend you bring your own umbrella or poncho. There’s only a pave way for one person to enter so becareful. I recommend to bring a torch light as your phone flashlight is not enough. The view inside is magnificent and hearing the water fall inside the cave is so cool.

Wear waterproof shoes or non leather shoes. Spray nano protector if you have. Careful of rocks falling down as I seen along the path there’s rock that was fallen.

The waterfall outside and the bridge is so cool. It’s a resting place as well. So take as many photo. There’s a limit for walking on the bridge. So please do check.

Overall definitely a nice place! Would come again.

Beautiful trail!!! It's 10-14 mins walk from Tianxiang's center and it leaves from the center of a tunnel. Some people bring torches but it's not really necessary. The trail ends at a hanging bridge and a waterfall. It's lovely!

Totally recommend this trail if you visit Taroko. The trail is not too hard even for the young kids or the elders. The scenery is stunning. The waterfall curtain is a must-see if you can, prepare your rain gear and enjoy it!

I’m giving 5 stars because I’m sure that when it’s open it’s beautiful there. But now it’s open just 1 km and there is not much interesting to see. So if you are around and quite short of time it would be better to skip this trail for you and focus for more interesting places for now.

If the cave with the water curtain is open, then this trail is a must. Bring a rain coat and a flashlight and leave you shoes at the start of the cave. It’s lots of fun! The scenery along the trail is also nice, but the water curtain is the highlight!

A 2km trail leading to a cave with pouring water. You pass through several tunnels along the way. The scenes are pleasant and the trail is very family friendly.

Trail is easy and short, compared to Shakadang, although the view is a bit less beautiful. Prepare flashlight to go through tunnels. Helmet is also recommended. Waterfall is not that close so you don't have to worry about getting wet.

According to Google Translate, this trail is only open for the first 1km at the first viewing platform. Never done this so assume the water curtain is not accessible at this time.
