Guanshan Riverside Park

Got here by accident but then found out that this park is a really nice place to hangout, bike and picnic. There’re planes coming and going every now and then, it’s a beautiful unobstructed cityscape.
The most interesting part is that there’s also a wall for graffiti art~

My baby daughter Aglaia is in love of this spot on Keelung riverside. I always take her here. She is so happy!

Perfect place for some exercise. Many people walk, run, or cycle along the well-kept paths. The scenic views adds to the experience.

Best picnic place during the long Hollidays when all locals are out of town!

You can walk or bicycle all day along the rivers here. Safe at any time of day or night. Water fountains, clean restrooms evenly spread out. Here at Guanshan, there are tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, a croquet field, an awesome view of Taipei 101, plenty of space under the overpass for skating. The planes from the airport take off right overhead.

U can practice running and biking here all the time.

If you're going for a run or a bike ride and don't want to dodge traffic, this is the place to go. You can find miles of uninterrupted bike and walking paths that are well maintained. If you head south, you can even see Taipei 101 in the distance. If you head west, you will eventually see the Taipei Grand Hotel.

If you're trying to get to the other side of the river, the First Macarthur Bridge or Rainbow Bridge seem to be the best bets.

Taking kids out for bike rides, very easy to get rental bicycles.
