Smaller than expected night market which provides various local cuisine. Love the stinky tofu and duck blood soup and the fried chicken, fresh guava juice. If you are after the famous oyster omelette, expect long queue and at least half an hour waiting time. My personal rating for this place is 4.2/5

We went on weekday and the street was reaaally crowded. Tried some foods like oyster omelette, rice wrap which I already forgot the supposed name, chicken leg skewer, potato cheese salad, ice mochi, fried oreo, noodle wrap, and so on. Plenty of food choices available, some well-known food stalls have really long queues. If you want to try the famous oyster omelette with the michelin recommendation or the squid wrap, brace yourself. Though, in this area, there is also another well-recommended oyster omelette stand right outside the entrance gate.

Very thin and long market, it's so fun to dive deep in there, you can find here all kind of food you can expect in Taipei from soup to dessert, from seafood to beef, everything is in those small alley. So find a shop, take a seat wherever it's possible, make your own place, take time to fix, watch the human traffic and you will enjoy a wonderful moment and an unforgettable meal. Have fun!

This quaint little night market is a burst of life, pulsating with a myriad of enticing aromas and flavors from all corners. Sure, it's a bit of a squeeze to navigate through the throngs of people, but trust me, the culinary treasures waiting at every stall make it all worth it. From the delightful chewiness of mochi to the savory perfection of chicken skewers, the inventive twists of ramen rolls, and the indulgent joy of cheese corn – every bite is a celebration. It's not just about the food; it's about weaving through the crowd, sharing smiles with fellow food enthusiasts, and discovering these hidden gems that make the whole experience incredibly human and absolutely worth the visit.

One of the better night market in Taipei. Must come here and Raohe when you are in Taipei. Streets are narrower and less shops than other markets. They are famous for their fried Taro and muah Chee. Their sesame chicken soup is nice but it requires acquired taste and its herbal taste is strong.

Fun and exciting culinary experience at one of famous Night Market in Taipei area. Must try their Fried Sweet Potato Ball, Grill Squid, Oyster omelette, Liu Yu Zi (fried taro dumpling with salted egg filing with or without topping of pork floss) this one specificaly had won a Michelin Bib Gourmand 2022. Also try the two brother hot mochi coated with peanut and sesame and many more.

We strolled from Dadaocheng to Ningxia, and the walking time was reasonable. Comparable to other night markets in Taiwan, Ningxia is a fantastic destination for food and leisurely walks, offering a wide variety of snacks and beverages. Despite not being conveniently located near any subway stations, it is definitely worth visiting to soak in the lively night atmosphere.

If you are looking for variety you have to go to Ningxia Night Market. From Michelin Star Fried Taro Balls, to pork liver soup, kimchi, hungarian sausage, pork pot stickers, fruit shakes, roast beef, grilled corn, and of course stinky tofu! It's a 15 minute walk from the Shuanglian Subway Station. There are recommended shops in various blogs that you can refer to but you can also just dive in and discover the treats yourself. Some store owners do not speak English tho.

The foodies' night market of choice.
Long but fast-moving queue for the yam balls. Tasty traditional 饭团 at the end of the market and a very good 无骨排骨酥stall near the 饭团 stall.

The shops surrounding the market are very popular, too, especially the oyster omelet and 麻油鸡.

Amazing food! I like how there is the ability to step out to the other sides of the market to get out of the crowd to eat!

A must visit for any Taipei tour. The night market is food focused and has plenty of street snacks, drinks and even full on meals. There are also restaurants nearby if you want a more sit down meal. It can be very hard to navigate if it is crowded so try to come on a weekday if possible. Cash is accepted everywhere but many places also accept digital payments.

Great place to get local eats. LinePay was easy to use and the vendors were very friendly. Not too crowded but definitely a popular spot.

This is one of the smaller night streets, but still a lot of street food for you to try. Located near Taipei central station it is quite easy to walk by if you stay in hotels nearby. Also it opens until after midnight, very convenient to get late night snacks too.

This is my most favourite night market in Taipei. There are many Michelin Bib Gourmand shops and stalls to try and they all attract long queues.
My recommendation to try those places is to visit the market as early as possible before nightfall as more people will visit.
Too many favourite stalls to list: stuff squid, yam balls, oyster omelette, chicken rice, etc. You name it you get to try all the interesting local dishes here in Ningxia.
The only downside it's not so near to the metro station so probably need a 10 minutes walk.

Had a lot of amazing eateries here, very vibrant night market with lots of great food choices at good prices! Loved the atmosphere. We had the famous oyster cake which my husband and dad loved the lua ji oyster omelette (but was too oily for my tastes). The stinky tofu here is good as well.

It is 8 minutes walk from subway. It has so many good food stalls but the really good ones always have long waiting line.

Really fun and unique experience. Would definitely recommend going with some local friends and don't be afraid of the stinky tofu and duck blood!
