İmam Çağdaş Kebap ve Baklava Salonu

After an afternoon exploring the Bazaar, I was hungry and luckily stumbled upon this place. It's a beautiful historic building and when I walked in, it was buzzing with families, friends and energy. Thankfully I was immediately seated. The waiter spoke some English so I put in my order without a problem. I ordered a chicken kebab for a change and it was moist and flavorful. Then I sampled some baklava for dessert with some tea and it was the perfect way to end my meal.

This is the best place on earth for kabab and freshly baked baklava. Oh my god I miss this place so much. The food quality is incomparable to any other restaurant. I flew to this place specifically from the US, and came all the way to Gaziantep on the recommendation of a friend, and I definitely don’t regret it. The waiter was super funny and friendly. Will definitely come back if I could.

Their kebab is smoky, tender and juicy. Lahmacun is topped with soft meat, fresh vegetables, and herbs. Baklava is finely layered, filled with pistachio and sugar syrup. It perfectly matches with Turkish tea. Although the restaurant is always crowded, we still can get good service from them.
In my opinion, it is the BEST Baklava in Türkiye!

Legendary establishment that lives up to it's impeccable reputation. The kebabs are smoky, juicy and perfectly spiced. Baklavas are not overly sweet as compare to most establishments we have tried. They are nutty, buttery and flaky. A truly memorable experience.

Excellent food! The Ayran came out in a big bowl, the bread is super fresh and the salads were all excellent. Honestly a must. The personal is friendly and professional.

Be sure to stop by once before you leave Gaziantep🤤😋It is a spacious place with an area where you can sit on the top floor.
Portions are very satisfying and prices are normal.I especially recommend the alinazik kebab, it is very delicious.Also, the zahter tea they serve after the meal is different and must be tried🤌🏼It relaxes the stomach,recommended🫶🏼Also, since the surroundings of the restaurant are close to the called "copper bazaar", it can be a good choice after eating to take a touristic trip and souvenirs.

This was my favourite place to eat in Gaziantep. We went for dinner, good atmosphere, friendly staff, and prompt service, considering they were busy. All meat dishes had distinctively different tastes. Must order the sheep, it was perfection! Plus, the ayran is a large serving and much nicer than the packaged ayran. Great value for money.

MUST VISIT!! Legendary restaurant, lives up to it’s reputation. Although it is super busy, there is always a table available. We had lahmacun, sogan kebabi, ali nazik and baklava. All the dishes are recommended. Their BAKLAVA is the best among 5 other famous places I had tried.

Alinazik Kebap is a must-try there. Fresh and delicious. The staff was extremely friendly.

This is considered the best restaurant in Gaziantep for kebap and baklava. The place is very busy, many customers and many workers. The food is top quality and the service is fast. The team doesn't speak English but they are all very nice and helpful.

What you see is what you get! Amazing traditional food in nice ambiente. Share to try as much as you can!

To make it short: fantastic turkish food for very fair prices in a nice ambiance, central location, spacious venue, simplistic menu, attentive staff, high hygiene standards.
We tried lahmacun, Ali Nazik, Ayran, mixed Kebap and all tasted great.

1 of the must visit restaurants in Gaziantep. They are open continuously from lunch until dinner. The Ali Nazik with beef is the best dish on their menu and will let you crave for more after you finish it. The baklavas are not bad but there are places with better baklava in Gaziantep.

If there is one reason I visit Gaziantep again it's this baklava shop.

Baklava for breakfast, baklava for lunch, baklava for dinner and as a midnight snack. They have enough different options to try a different pastry with every meal.

Imam C also has decent meat dishes if you’re looking for something to go with your baklava.

We really loved the food here so much we visited 3 times ! Favorites include the simit kebab, the spicy lamb shish, the walnut and tomato salad, the yougurt with cucumber and the fully loaded lacmancun...which simply blows the others away.
Baklava is fresh and delicious and often warm.

Ali Nazik, Lahmacun, and their ayran are really good. Overpriced though as it is one of the touristic attractions in the city of Gaziantep.

Food is awesomely good! I wish I could bring home some baklava but I could not since I have another trip. But they can pack you baklava that fits well for international flight. Prices are mid-range. Located within the market area and near some mosques.

The food was delicious. The restaurant is located in a central location of the city, the interior is spacious, the menu is simplified, and the standards of cleanliness are high. I tried Ali Nazik, Ayran and the adana kebab and everything was delicious. The most difficult challenge was reaching the restaurant as it is close to the central market and the car traffic is very crowded. You can park the car a short distance before the restaurant and reach it on foot and the walk will not be boring
