Awa Koh Chang

Wonderful Hotel with extreme friendly and caring staff. Especially Mimi did all to comfort our stay. Large Pool. Very nice design of the building. All rooms have a good view to the pool. Good breakfast. Mixed guests from different countries, which was nice.

The Awa Resort on Koh Chang was absolutely beautiful. The photos don't do justice to the real charm of this place; it's even more stunning in person. The rooms are immaculate, and instead of the usual overpowering chlorine smell, the Hotels pool exudes a pleasant aroma of essential oils. Affordable massages, friendly staff, and a short walk to other stunning beaches make this resort a hidden gem. The food didn't win me over personally, but that's just a matter of taste. Luckily, there are lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby. Plus, alternate beaches are just a brief 10-minute stroll away from the hotel's beach. Overall, a great experience!

Our favorite place in Kai Bae . Big rooms , huge beds with good matrasses . Great pool , good buffet breakfast and lovely people . All at a fair price . We keep coming back .

If you are spending a vaction in Thailand. I would highly recommend AWA Resort Koh Chang. We stayed in a nice big room for 40 days. It's like paradise. Eat, drink, massage, Pool 200m long, Dinner on the beach with music.

One of the best hotels in Koh Chang. Excellent service, clean rooms, nice pool and best location in Kai Bae beach. Near Restaurants and shops.

Have been coming here for 4 times this past 12 months. And everything is great from comfy beds, great view (beach front view room type) and superb location in the middle of Kai Bae beach at a terrific price.
The only minor gripe is the WiFi signal that is not stable and breakfast spread that is a bit meh.

Great hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble.

A beautiful resort near many attractions. Lots of the area around was bars and "farang attractions". If you are a family you can have fun here but would likely need to stay on location. The staff was helpful and nice. The door man was incredibly helpful and nice. They also helped with setting up a snorkeling trip. Something's I personally enjoyed was the massage on the beach, good price and massue was very professional. The Romanic dinner was also great. 899 is pricey but was beautiful.

Koh chang is becoming more and more like Pattaya, lots of westerners with bar girls. This area is falling to this with it being surround with those attractions. If you are doing a sit by the pool and relax vacation, this is perfect.

We came for 1 week ended up staying for 3 weeks because we were so impressed. We stayed at other hotels in Koh Chang and this top trumped them all hands down!
Location great for sunsets. Quiet, no lack of beds around the pool or beach area.
Restaurant and bar great. Happy hour happens twice a day 😊
Rooms huge and comfortable, bathrooms too! Spotlessly cleaned every day.
Breakfast plentiful and lots of choice.
Plenty of shops & restaurants just outside the front.
But most of all the staff are superb and the manager the nicest person I have ever met. So helpful and super friendly.

The location is good, walkable distance to kaybai beach, and super easy to get to a restaurant or convenient store. The staff are all super friendly and helpful . The room is really big and clean with a super nice balcony. The pool is awesome, and the breakfast too! Very elegant lobby, and the most important is the room price is so reasonable.

Absolutely lovely hotel with a beautiful view and very helpful staff, the beach was fantastic and not too crowded in mid-December.

We visited last summer and have just returned to the hotel.
We have been to hotels in a lot of countries, and this is right up there. The room is huge and there is a lovely bathtub in the bathroom.
Don’t expect perfection- you’re on an island and by the jungle, so things are going to get a bit damp- but the room we had was lovely and the air conditioning was very strong.

Only small improvements I would suggest- provide access to drinking water to guests during the day, and consider installing a small gym. These small amenities would make a big difference.

My wife and I always stay at the AWA Hotel in Kae Bae when we are on Kho Chang. Love this very comfortable Hotel, Great location ,great staff, see you next time, soon we hope.
