THE EMERALD COVE KOH CHANG

This is a beautiful resort. The one real complaint is the concrete around the pool, which has very sharp inclusions on both the edge of the pool and the stairs. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, including a lovely shower and bathtub. The grounds are well-kept, and the staff was gracious and helpful. Definitely would recommend!

Nice hotel with rooms that have everything you need. A beautiful beach, to which the descent is by wide stone steps. Huge clean pool with great views. Breakfast is ok, no frills. There is a 7-11 shop and inexpensive Thai cafes nearby.

I had a superb stay, the staff was really friendly and the room was much better than expected, just like the pictures. Loved relaxing in the bath. The pool is huge, had such a great time there too. Internet is fast, was able to have zoom calls to Europe without any delay or issues. Will stay again once I am back in the area

The sea breeze was so wonderful .
As a fair-skinned-blond, I would wear sun-protective fabric over my swimming costume, in future. Great breakfasts, evening meals and Happy-hours.
Very magical venue.

I don't really have anything bad to say about this place, it ticks all the boxes for me. Lovely location, when the tide is in the sea comes right up to the hotel sea wall. One minute you can be swimming in the sea, the next in the 50 meter fresh water pool, biggest pool of any hotel I've stayed in and a good depth throughout. The strip between the pool and the sea has lots of trees for shade with comfy adjustable sun loungers.
Breakfast is good, plenty of choice between Thai & Western cooked breakfast and fruit/salad bars. Everything you could want really.
The rooms are big 50 Square Meters and well equipped with Ceiling Fan and Aircon, Fridge, Safe and an array of furniture. Never heard a noise from any other room. Cleaners do an excellent job in looking after the room and supply fresh beach towels every day. You get some lovely sunsets here also.

Always my first choice for a stay in Koh Chang. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The pool is huge. Staffs are very attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was great, there was a variety of Thai food for you to try.

On Thai holidays, the breakfast buffet was a bit too crowded for covid situation.

Highly recommended.

spent a few days here with the family. location is great as its so easy to get to the bars and restaurants on the main road so you have dining choices other than the restaurants in the hotel. Pool is so long 50 meters so it's never super crowded even when lots of people using it.

Yes it is not like a contemporary high end 5 star hotel but it's offers all you need for a very nice holiday! If you take in consideration value for money it is an excellent Hotel.

Hotel offer us free upgrade the room, I like the ambience there, I like the location, the room is big and bed is comfortable, big bath tub and water is well warm, aircon is not too cold . the service is very good.
the water at the beach is clear and calm.

We had a great 5 day stay here. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The room was a good size, clean, modern and well maintained. Breakfast was great especially the eggs and pancakes! The highlight of the hotel was the 50 metre swimming pool, which was clean and open 24 hours. Food, drink, the spa etc inside the hotel was a bit expensive but there were as few nice restaurants on the beach and the roads near the hotel.

The beauty of this resort is impeccable. Customer service and staff are superb!! Breakfast? Oh my goodness! 3 rooms of greatness will fill your belly and get you prepared for a day of activities. With so many to choose from, how could you ever not be entertained. The scene, the setting, atmosphere. Do not miss this exquisite resort. Highly recommended. Will be back again.

Hotel pool and beach area is amazing and probably the best one I have ever seen in Koh Chang. The room is spacious and well maintained. All staff are very nice and attentive to us. We bought vouchers which offer 3 meals a day. The foods were so delicious.

Loved our stay here. We were very lucky with the very first November week - just after the rainy season... almost empty resort, no rain. Please consider that our awesome stay rating is based on the low occupancy level.

Let’s start with the few things that were not ideal: rate included breakfast (do not expect standard continental quality and be prepared for no tasty drinking options but drip coffee - if one drinks that...), not super international (when on vacation I prefer not to hear German all day)...

Loves: The spacious (ocean view) room, cleanliness, friendliness, beach (always first row spots), Happy Hour Drinks Special, seafood dinner, romantic private dinner option, menu al a card, pool, beautiful around the corner beach restaurants, stores near by (7/11, pharmacy, trustworthy scooter rental, tour office, real breakfast place, etc.) and... the swings 🤩

Also great for families with kids.

It is best one hotel for staying in koh Chang island in Thailand. It is situated at the sea beach. I stayed for 3 days in suite rooms. Friendly staff, nice night view of hotel decoration. Delicious breakfast for vegetarian and non-vegetarian people. Big swimming pool with separate child swimming pool. It has made artificial water flow in whole hotel walking area. It has nice view, one side forest and other side seaface. It welcome by welcome drinks and it has each facilities as 5 star standard. They guide us for island trip and provide training for dolphin drive and pickup drop facilities. I like to sit at beach in late-night under gazebo. I like to stay in this hotel once again.

Very comfortable place, clean and with nice and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with everything you may need. Swimming pool clean and with warm water, open till midnight. Breakfast very tasty and varied. Shops, restaurants and pharmacy only few steps from the hotel. You can spend romantic time at the one of nice restaurants at the beach (italian and thai food). Hotel is perfect place for families with children and those who are looking for peace and quiet. I highly recommend:)))

The hotel is beautiful, airy, not uncomfortable, next to the sea, the pool is very big. Fun to play in the water, clean rooms, good service staffs. This price is very cheap. If coming to Koh Chang, recommend here.

Stayed here for 3 days with my husband & it was amazing experience. The view is great, service is outstanding. Near to markets & restaurants. We rented a motorbike (well we always do when you are in Koh chang) to stroll around the area of Koh Chang. Reception staff were nice. Swimming pool was great as well.
