One of the most significant temples in the area. Well kept grounds right next to a river. Everyone around seemed friendly. Worth a visit if you have some extra time in Takuapa.

A Buddhist temple, its main architectural features include a stunning chedi tower and six towering meters that represent the Buddhist Tathagata. The interior of the temple is also adorned with colorful Lan Na murals. Inside, you will also find a small reclining Buddha. Wat Khongkha Phimuk is a peaceful, tranquil place to visit. It is a great way to immerse yourself in a beautiful and exotic culture. The temple also offers terrific views of the surrounding countryside.

Closed due to Covid-19 but looked fab from the outside, definitely worth the little detour off the main road. As far as temples go this is a pretty good one
