"Walkers Inn" Khao Lak

Strong recommendation for Walkers Inn, we've been in Khao Lak for two days and ate in the Inn twice already. The food is amazing (especially the Massaman curry), the playlist is great. I love the way the family runs the business, one could not feel more welcome when stepping in the restaurant.

Will definitively come back several times during our holiday here in Khao Lak!

After seeing so many glowing reviews and seeing the walkers inn recommended on several local facebook page’s, my husband and I had to try out.

We had a fantastic visit to the walkers inn. The service was incredibly efficient and both the staff and owners were so friendly and welcoming. My husband and I both had the chicken massaman curry and it was delicious, the best we’ve had during our 2 weeks here!

They also have a wide selection of western dishes to choose from if you’re craving some home comforts.

We also enjoyed meeting Andy and his wife (the owners) and we enjoyed hearing their back stories of how they came to own the inn.

Unfortunately, covid hit their business hard as well as many others in khao lak. They therefore had to downsize to a smaller premises down the road. Don’t let the location put you off, the walkers inn has a lovely atmosphere and is very well decorated and kitted out inside. You won’t regret visiting this place 😁 it really is a hidden gem.

Andy even dropped us off after our meal to save us the expansive taxi fayre back to our hotel. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Just had Christmas dinner there - absolutely fantastic service, food and atmosphere. Had the best time with the best people - thank you so much! Definitely worth venturing outside for!

Asian and English food all very tasty and freshly made by Thai-English staff. Best pork chops and mashed potato ever, and awesome English breakfast!

Was recommended to come here and did not disappoint. Massaman curry was delicious served with cold beer - what else do you need.
Also served apple pie & custard - not what you may expect but I loved it.

We've been to Walker's Inn on previous visits to Khao Lak but since Covid they have moved to further down the road.
We came here today to watch the NRL Grand Final. Cold drinks and hot food.
Great service and they even picked us up from our transfer drop off.
The whole area has suffered severely from Covid. We are happy to support Walker's Inn and the whole Khao Lak precinct.

We stopped for a quick meal and drink was not disappointed pad thai was nice cold Chang and shake reasonably priced and if sports fan your set. IT started to rain and Andrew kindly dropped us back at hotel. Will drop by again.

We had a fabulous Christmas roast here. Would definitely recommend the delicious food and drinks.

Stopped in here while waiting for our dive boat to pick us up and the food was fantastic! Great prices, super friendly staff and the food was super fresh. Best chicken satay we've had so far in Thailand. My husband got the chicken pad Thai and I got the tuna mayonnaise baguette and both were absolutely phenomenal. Would take a picture but we gobbled up the food way too fast! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Khao Lak!

Stopped in to have lunch before continuing my ride. Bumped into a group of other riders there too. Great food, really lovely family run place. And biker friendly, stop in if your riding to or from Phuket. The roads around there are mega.

Called in for a drink this afternoon. The owner is from Leeds who lives here with his Thai wife. Friendly bar and food looks amazing although we didn't eat. Defo worth a visit!

Walked from The Leaf on the sands to walkers bar took about 15minutes,we we ate evening meal and met some nice people.
Stayed and had a couple of beers, we was quite shocked when the owners offered to drop us back at our Hotel, which we was very grateful for.
Nice to see hospitality like this, 5 star service we will call again 100%

We stopped off this morning for some delicious breakfast. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food and service was great and TV's to watch the sport.

Please note, they have moved about 80 yards down from their original place so please don't think they are closed.

Brilliant service loved it here lovely food so welcoming if you want anything I've just said you must give this place a shot run by a lovely family. Can't do enough for you definitely will be visiting again before going home can't wait. Even had apple pie and custard for desert was lovely. 🙂😁

Fantastic place to watch any live sport in Khao Lak. Friendly owners and great food. Local dishes ordered were as good as anywhere we've had in Khao Lak and and western options were appreciated by the kids 🙂. Wholly recommend!

Went to Walkers most days for breakfast, the English breakfast was superb with Tetley tea, proper sausage, bacon and beans, even has the benefit of HP sauce. Last time we were there ( before COVID) tried Thai food which was equally as good. Andy and his wife are loverly people, don’t be put off by the surrounding building or you will never experience the owners or great food.

I do eat red curry as my go to Thai dish. And I have had alot all over the world. Top 3...... probably number 2 at Walkers Inn. 11 out of 10. Well done. A credit to the community and will definitely return. Best wishes Galit and Chris.

We just went for lunch but it’s a nice little place. Lots of good food options and great place for aussies to watch the footy.

I love this place! Me and my bf were regulars here during our holiday. Joo cooks the most delicious food from both Thai and western cuisine. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. I higly recommend the massaman curry, while my bf loves the cheeseburger.
