OUTRIGGER Surin Beach Resort

What fantastic service they provide at this hotel!! Not only is the property and location beautiful, but you are welcomed with next level hospitality. We had a late arrival, and B greeted us with cold towels and refreshing drink. She was so kind! And then I realized that is the whole staff as well :)

We spent 5 nights in this hotel and it was incredible. The service is exceptional, staff members are super friendly, always smiling and ready to help!
Breakfast was amazing, a lot to choose from and everyday something new (only pancakes could use a bit less of soda :)).
Hotel pool is also quiet and very cozy with all the plants around it.
Rooms are also very comfortable.
The only downside can be the location in the Surin beach - there is not as much to do here as in Kamala beach or Bang Tao beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 day stay at Outrigger Surin Bay. We had a room with splash pool. The friendly staff, excellent breakfasts and location near the beach really fulfilled our expectations for a relaxing holiday. We highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to Nan, Koi, Apple and the whole staff for your friendly hospitality. Our room was serviced every day snd we appreciated the clean towels.

Our whole stay was amazing. The staff is so friendly and courteous. At the breakfast I would recommend you to order a coconut iced latte - it‘s the best. The hotel is right next to the beach. It was really great and we are very sad that we had to leave.

We have spent five days with a 1-yr-old baby and the experience overall has been quite good. Very friendly staff and very good restaurant. The room has stairs which makes the baby crawling harder but the pools are nice too. Unfortunately they do not have the baby pool like the neighbor Holiday Inn. I do recommend anyone who likes Surin Beach could stay here.

Wonderful resort in a less built up part of Phuket. 2 min walk to the beach. Impeccable service. Travelled as a family and perfect. Food isn't cheap but is really good.

Hotel across the road from a family friendly beach, with very comfortable rooms, even for the most basic ones.
We got an upgraded room for our late checkout which even included a pool of its own! So luxurious.

Outrigger offers an outstanding service. Every one of the staff members I interacted with was very well trained and spoke perfect english.

We only had a 2 night stay at Outrigger and we wish we'd had longer! I couldn't fault anything. The staff were very attentive, friendly and welcoming; the food was amazing - I'm gluten intolerant and every morning they made me gf toast for breakfast which I could have with eggs whichever way I wanted them cooked. We liked the food so much, that we actually ate in the restaurant both evenings of our stay.

The place is a true 2nd home when you have a fabulous home, I stayed here for 9 nights and it’s the 6th hotel for this year and I can say that I will suffer in every future hotel. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and ready to help with every small detail, they will remember you and what you asked for the 1st time and will proactively offer, the rooms are exceptionally clean and housekeeping will always go in and clean in any time you are out, it’s well located close to the beach, restaurant, groceries and laundry shops, they have nice activities for kids and their breakfast is great, the complementary glass water bottles are delicious, it’s very quite and calm for relaxing.

Rooms were in good shape and exceeded my expectations (given what i’ve seen a 5 star can look in Thailand).

Staff was very friendly and swiftly managed to sort out an initial issue with the room (we were moved into a superior room with no extra cost).

With this in mind, please note that there is no elevator (not a big problem, but it’s not mentioned anywhere when you book).

The breakfast had a decent variety.

The one thing that was a minus (but easily correctable) is that the small plunge pool thay we had in our room was never cleaned in our 5 night stay.

We stay here just 1day and it was a wonderful experienced !

Location
It takes 30-40min from the airport by taxi. We took Grab. Grab pick up point is outside of the airport.

Waking just in 5min and reach Surin beach. Along the beach there are many local food and it very cheap and tasty!

Hotel
All staff are very friendly and warmly welcomed us. Once check in we need to download the hotel app and we can send multiple request through app.
Even they have live chat function so if you have any question you can ask anytime and response is really quick!

It is very cozy and relax hotel. Highly recommend to couple and friend trip.

Had a great stay here, the staff a particularly helpful and friendly. In particular Juice was very friendly each morning and Au who sorted us out a taxi. Thanks a lot, would return, the restaurant is very good too!

We had such a great time at the Outrigger Hotel. From the comfortable and spacious room, to the amazing food served at the restaurant, to the super friendly and diligent staff, we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended to anyone looking to stay in the Surin area!

Most friendly staff ever, the service is 5 starts. Room is modern and clean. Pool is nice and a well-equipped small gym. Breakfast is excellent.

Highlight is the great staff, also amazing cocktails. Had some issues with room but staff quickly resolved, very commited to providing high quality service and contact with guests, loved the staff.

We had an awesome stay at the resort. The staff team is one of the best. The staff provides the best tips for travel. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated keeping in mind your comfort.
It’s a bit away from the city however 30 mins from the airport ( seven eleven and other convenience store is 10 mins walk). However when I visited the town I really appreciated staying at Surin - stone throw away from the beautiful Surin beach. Quiet and very peaceful.

Disliked · If I had to pick on something - The breakfast service could be a bit better ( coffee gets a bit cold since served early) and the buffet could be improved to include options for vegan/vegetarian people

Beautiful hotel!
We had an amazing time in here.
The hotel is very nicely decorated.
The stuff is so nice and trying so hard for you to have an amazing time in there.
The app that they use is really handy with which we were able to order amenities,towels,speak with front desk,book daily travel tours,order food and drinks. Such an amazing invention and really useful.
Breakfast was very delicious and also a must try is the lunch/diner menu!!

Amazing & Beautiful Stay
I booked on this resort last minute after I canceled my other booking with the terrible Duangjitt Resort and what a treat it was.

The staff were friendly, attentive & immediately helpful and made my stay way better.

Amazing spacious room with a plunge pool the resort concept is small and cozy like a boutique hotel with beautiful Hawaiian themed decorations.

The food was delicious I’ve had one the best burgers in Thailand through the room service.

And you download their app and sign in via QR code to your room then you order room service request anything from the staff even book tours through your phone with an immediate response, Amazing.

And It’s located in a quiet are across the road from Surin beach a little walk and you are there. Great resort I’ll be coming back again.
