Great food with fantastic service. Ordered 5 different dishes and they all arrived at the same time. 80 bht beers great to. Very family friendly with a little house and toys to play with on the beach. The rice in the pineapple was huge.

This is our "go to" place on the beach. Hire sun lounger (separate owner to restaurant) for 100 baht per day. Food and drinks served either to your sunbed or you can sit at the tables. Nothing better than dining on the beach either daytime or evening. Or you can just sit up at the bar and watch the world go by then see the sun go down. Taruj and his team are polite, helpful and food and drinks are delicious and well priced. We can't fault thus place - don't walk by as you wander along the beach

Food was good, very generous portions but cocktails are fantastic! Staff are great and super friendly bringing out beach toys for my 4 year old to play with, really great spot to chill on the beach, highly recommended!

This little place has it all. Great food, atmosphere and service. This is a great place to relax for lunch or in the evening for under the lights. This is a family run restaurant run by Taruj and his whole family, who are so welcoming and friendly.

The other big benefit for me is that my wife is vegetarian. Taruj and the team were able to make just about any Thai food option as vegetarian (or vegan).

We ate here three times in our short trip.

This was the highlight of our visit to the beach during sunset timing. We enjoyed great food and service, while watching the sunset. Would definitely come back again if we get the chance!

You need to do this at night! Having dinner on the beach is a real treat for city dwellers like us. Food was really good. The menu is extensive! Maybe too much so. We had a pizza, spring rolls and some big noodle dish (which was interesting). Prices are reasonable for South Africans.

This is THE choice for the beach eateries along this stretch of beach. We’ve tried 4, and returned to this one…staff are friendly and helpful, and our food choices have been so delicious we’ve come back again. Beer was cold as well, always a bonus!
Prices on-par with all the eateries, but they are currently offering 10% discount.
Helpful with a few subtle menu changes (extra chilli, no coriander).
Recommend the crispy pork and their soups!

Beach chairs are reasonably priced (100baht). The location is absolutely perfect!

If you spend the day at Bangtao Beach, go there. The food is yummy, the service very friendly and you’ll have a seat in the shade for a couple of hours if you want. Very good prices too.

Loved this place. Our waitress, Mimi, was an absolute gem and must be worth her weight in gold to this establishment.

They have an extensive and delicious menu. The first night we ate here I had crispy pork with noodles and then the next night a seafood dish. My wife had a superb chicken with cashew nuts the first night and then ordered the squid with lime sauce. This proved to have a bit too much chilli in it for her so it was passed over to me and she reverted to the cashew chicken option.

The roti pancakes with banana and chocolate sauce which get ordered from a little kiosk a short way down the beach were and absolute win.

The one evening it came up to rain and we completed our meal at the bar. Mimi came and chatted with us and was a real pleasure to have around.

The tables are placed on the sand and at high tide the wave lets come up and tickle your feet. A wonderful experience.

Best beach bar in Bangtao. We have been back over several years to this beach because of this beach bar. Mimi is the star here with her friendliness and smile. Taruk makes the best margaritas here. Our happy place.

Really delicious, authentic Thai food- highly recommend the panang curry and baked rice served in a pineapple!

As everyone else has said, the staff here were the friendliest people we met in Thailand. Great food and great setting, couldn't recommend enough.

Great food, ate there two nights and enjoyed the food, the guys, the kids being kids and Mimi was a joy! Would be back tomorrow if the plane didn't want to fly.
