The Corner Restaurant

This restaurant is a very good one with an international menu, good hygiene, and great customer service. For example, they actually have air-con in here. They even have free Wi-Fi! They also have special dietary requirements for people with food allergies. As for the hygiene, the restaurant is very clean and even the restrooms are clean. Unlike a lot of other restaurants. Not only that because the food tastes awesome. They show a lot of skill and effort in their food. To prevent their rice spilling during transit, they wrap it in a leaf cone.

It’s great restaurant with decent Thai’s food and service. With a huge varieties of quality food, we enjoy the environment and atmosphere so much. The owner is so kind and send the car to pick us up back to resort. The price is reasonable. There is also a light buffet with a price of 250THB only.

Good food and reasonably priced. If you come between 11-5, there are plenty of promotion and specials. I had a carafe of Cabernet Sauvignon for less than 400, and it’s a pretty decent wine. Tenderloin was good, come with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. Baked spinach with mozzarella was excellent, Must Try. Spinach was tasty and slightly salted by mozzarella and Parmesan. You have to come to try the food when you are around

Restaurant is run by its German owner who was very hospitable and friendly- and so were the other staff.

The lunch menu offers a mix of local Thai and German dishes which are very well priced. Everyone was happy with their drinks and food.

Ambiance was nice and comfortable to relax or work. Will definitely be back again.

Some people on TripAdvisor said that it’s the best place on Phuket. Can’t agree with them but it’s definitely worth visiting, especially if you are getting tired of traditional Thai food and want to try something new. German and Thai food represented well, prices are average for the area and dishes look great. We were advised to try Tom Yum and it was very good, we didn’t specify to make it not spicy and it was pleasantly hot. We didn’t order any drinks, but ones on other tables looked tasty. Big selection of freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. Staff knows English well and is very helpful and friendly. Owner walks out and asks you how everything is, which shows a lot.

If anyone from the restaurant reads this, I recommend serving stuffed avocado (great appetizer btw, highly recommend) with a spoon, eating it with knife and fork was a bit inconsistent.

Great restaurant ran by a friendly and welcoming western owner who is almost always there, making guests feel at home. Dishes have high-end looking garnishing with very reasonable prices. The Thai foods might be a bit plain tasting for Thai people but the western dishes are extremely delicious. Wide selection of breakfast options and lunch promotions makes Corner a versatile restaurant. The interior is posh looking, the service always friendly and fast. They might surprise you with a complimentary ice cream on your first visit :)

Very hospitable and friendly staff and owner! Food was well cooked using fresh ingredients. BBQ seafood platter was tasty and succulent. Tom Yum soup was spicy and delicious. Had a positive and welcomed dinner here with my family.

Always a great atmosphere, fantastic service, great selection of both food and beverages and absolutely wonderful hosts. Jens and Artty the owners really make you feel welcomed and taken care of, each and every time.

For sorry I came here the last night before leaving Phuket.
I wished if i had known this restaurant once I reached Phuket. I never tasted delicious food in Phuket except here with a warm welcome and a free ice cream goodbye :))

Great place with delicious food with high quality ingredients! Price is a plus as it sits about in the middle cost wise compared to street food/upscale places. I had the chicken Caesar salad and the girl had the penne salmon. We shared the baked spinach with mozzarella as well, which was fantastic! Both of our dishes were great and well presented as well. For desert we had the chocolate mousse and the crepe suzette with ice cream, both of which were top notch. I highly recommend coming here for the great food and awesome staff!

Very good menue, short and diverse, plus special offers on the board for the day plus specialities of the month. We had a seafood platter for 2. Fresh and delicious seafood - mussels 3 kinds, squids, shrimps, tiger prawns, blue crab, all steam boiled and some barbecue roasted. We wanted to try the Phuket lobster but it was finished that day. My daughter had a tasty wiener schnitzel. Also we've tried the desserts, pancake Caiserschmarn and a chocolate mousse, both was very good considering where we are. The portions are normal to big. The owner Jens and all the personnel were very kind and helpful. The place is popular, the sits are limited so better have a reservation. If you book online and leave name, accommodation, hotel, room number, etc. , the transfer to the Corner is on the restaurant, they have own transport. Would come back and would recommend with a pleasure.

The most original menu in Bang Tao!! We enjoyed a lot our dinner in this place. Thai cuisine with a diferent touch.

We stopped in for a late lunch on the drive down to Kata from the airport. We couldn't have found a better place. For 200 BHT, they have a lunch special that includes curry, rice, a small appetizer, grilled veggies, a soda, and an ice cream. And everything was above average in taste. The staff seems genuinely happy to be there and low-key. Just an amazing find for a lunch spot all around.

We had a set lunch with chicken satay and green curry. Surprisingly the green curry is very delicious and the peanut sauce is the best we tasted. Wish we could stay longer at Phuket.
